The problem there is we haven’t played our strongest line up due to injuries etc but I don’t think it’s that easy to say pick the squad that qualified when we haven’t played any top tier Nation. We will need our best players come the World Cup imo. It’s one thing disposing teams like Serbia but in the World Cup against the big teams, we’re going to need all our quality players eventually imo but it’s not easy due to the ease of qualifying but it shouldn’t mask over how much more difficult it will be in America.

Really hope to see Wharton, Bellingham, Palmer, and those I forgot back in November.

But anyways, job done. Qualified, with a clean sheet. Can't ask for much more.

The Sun have gone from being supportive of Tuchel to being constantly negative - even an article about us qualifying is prefaced with negativity about the kick off times at the World Cup. Yesterday a nothing story about Rashford was their front page for some reason.

You have to be trolling with some of these posts surely, there's a bunch of players in that list who did help england qualify. Madueke and James have been some of England's best players under Tuchel.

I don’t think Palmer will be- he is not expected to play until November and the squad is announced on the 7th November (Chelsea will have played Spurs and Qarabag in November before then).

Only seen the last 10 minutes. Nice goal from Eze. Anderson may have become one of the first names on the team sheet.

I’m just fascinated by their u turn. Last October they went on about how their would be supportive along others but now are the most negative media outlet towards the team.

I suspect he's already made his mind up about Henderson but Tuchel needs to think long and hard about taking him to the World Cup. He's in a position where he's he's gonna need to play some minutes (potentially significant minutes) if he goes and he's just not good enough. This camp made both of those things clear.

If Wharton goes it and he takes all 26 it won’t be too bad. But if Wharton doesn’t go or it’s not 26 going then it’s a concern.

That wouldn't be the worst scenario but I think realistically, we're gonna need four midfielders who we know we can absolutely rely on to deliver against top teams. The way we play under Tuchel is going to be so fatiguing in a condensed tournament schedule at the end of a long season in the soaring heat. Our midfielders will probably need rotating/subbing more than any other players in the team. If Henderson absolutely has to go, we need to drop a player from another part of the team and pick another midfielder imo.

It will be rough.(Throigh I’m not sure it’s more condensed than 2018 - it’s longer to fit in the extra round of matches).

Wharton would be perfect in the heat. He doesn't expend much energy because his positioning is always perfect

Quite a few of Tuchel’s changes almost feel like sympathy decisions. Let’s leave it until the game is dead and it will be safe to let him have a run on the pitch. It is completely pointless long term because it already feels like he would never pick Burn or Henderson to play in a tight pressure game against moderate opposition.

Makes you wonder why he even dropped Kyle Walker. He could have stretched his legs for 20 mins tonight and given Spence a rest.

If Bellingham is either not in the squad or is annd doesn’t start against Serbia I feel for the rest of the team being asked solely about him.

The last player to score against England in a competitive game is now playing for Stockport County.

No, not trolling. Take the players who helped the team achieve the best results.
