Beautiful assist from Foden breaking down this really stubborn and well organised Napoli team.

Burn didn´t look good in the sequence that led to Rashford´s header.

There's absolutely no subtlety to anything that Harvey Barnes does. Every shot and every cross is entirely predictable.

Unbelievable goal. Rashford really is one of the few players we have who can do that. Just desperately need him to find some consistency.

Rashford is full of confidence now. Great pass. On his day he's unplayable

Marcus Rashford is the second Englishman to score two goals in a Champions League game for a non-English club against a Premier League side.

The other was Harry Kane against Chelsea yesterday.

I don't think we've ever had so much depth playing at this level and actually looking good at this level

The answer then is who else. Spence? Lewis-Skelly? Hall? Shaw?

If Rashford could get some consistency and goalscoring form back that would be massive for the national side. Ever since Sterling fell out of contention we've lacked any sort of goal threat from the left wing. He's also perfect for playing off Kane, in a way I don't think any of the other left side options really are.

Tuchel will start him most matches I suspect from now on to try and get that in him for England at least,

Compare him to Gordon who has little end product. Rashford has probably been Barcelona's best player tonight

Funnily enough he'd be a great fit at Newcastle. They're crying out for a midfielder who can look after the ball and play in small spaces. They've loads of brawn but not enough brain.

Seems like Foden had a top game tonight also, he would also be a welcome return to the squad if he can find club form again. Obviously he shouldn't walk into the starting 11 again but he's still a very good choice to potentially have around, and Tuchel hasn't had much of a chance to use him yet. Perhaps he can take inspiration from Sterling who went from 2 goals in 45 games, having not scored for England in 3 years, only to become probably England's best player and a potent goalscorer in the 2018-2021 period.

He seems to have been moved into the central attacking midfield role now also. Bernardo would usually do this role but he’s now appears to be played on the right, usually where Foden played mostly. I think Pep will permanently play him there now and not go back out wide. Played well tonight, played a blinding through ball for Haaland which lead to the sending off and a lovely assist for Haaland. Just all round he looks like he’s enjoying playing again.

I am not sure Foden will be back anytime soon . Tuchel honestly didn’t seem too happy with him ruling himself out last June with injury.

We've never had so much depth than we have now. If tuchel can keep us playing like we did against Serbia who knows but it would be a crying shame if we didn't win anything with the talent we have

He will actually be the same age as Sterling was at those euros come the World Cup next year. Which feels just weird. .
