At this rate defenders will scored as many goal ss the forwards this qualifying campaign. James, Lewis-Skelly, Lnosa and Guehi so far.

Im sure it ha happened before but I don’t remember both centre backs scoring before,

I suspect Tuchel’s contract extension to 2028/2030 will be announced pretty soon.

 

I may have lost track of what the rule is now, but the ball was going quite far wide and the defender in the middle was getting back. I'd feel hard done by if it happened to us.

Rogers has been really good. His ability to play with his back to goal is a massive advantage in this role. He can draw players in and take them out of the game really quickly with his strength and agility. Works really well with Anderson's forward passing.

My understanding is there's guidelines for the referee, such as direction of the player, distance from goal, but it's still ultimately a subjective decision for the official.
Kane's 3 or 4 steps from shooting - no defender is getting anywhere near him. Add in that it a clear deliberate foul, with no intention of playing the ball and I'd have no complaints if that was against us.
