Don't know where else to put this but the president of the Polish FA seems to outright say that Southgate applied for the manager's job and they've turned him down. Not a job I'd expect him to be interested in at all, he must be hungry to get back at it. My prediction is that he ends up with the USA if Pochettino leaves after the World Cup.

No English starters for Man City in the Club World Cup. Bettinelli, Stones, Foden and O’Reilly are on the bench. A bit disappointing to have no English starters for an English team on the global stage.
When I read the report about him applying the other week I thought it was b*llocks. Pretty shocked that Southgate would put his name in the hat for that job. It sounds like they don't want a foreign manager which is fair enough. I've been reading what a few Polish fans think and they seem to say the NT manager role is an impossible job with a tonne of internal politics and crap to manage on the side, and that recent times has shown it's not really suitable for a non-Pole.
Foden was the only one of the English subs who got on for Man City coming on at half time. O’Reilly, Stones and Bettinelli were unused.

The medical staff have been sensational." pic.twitter.com/iX8TgGNkfh— The Touchline | Football Coverage (@TouchlineX) June 23, 2025 Who do we think Tuchel will replace him with against Serbia. A midfield of Jones/ Wharton , Rice and Palmer/Rogers? Let’s hope Henderson is not starting.
A move from Juventus for 25-year-old Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho depends on whether the Italian club sign Francisco Conceicao from Porto. (Corriere dello Sport - in Italian) Aaron Ramsdale is a surprise target for Turkish giants Galatasaray. ( The Sun)
He was being interview by some fella in broken English, about wanting to play with Yamal and said yeah he a great player, everyone wants to play with great players. That's the extent of these headlines. Barcelona have been linked with him so it's not that rogue.
The Barcalona talk has been going on for months. Even when he was at Villa and its been mostly from his side.
Could be out for the rest of the year apparently. I hadn’t realised it was that serious and really should have been dealt with before now especially if it’s why he might have struggled last season.
Going to make the autumn matches interesting for Tuchel as what midfields will he go for. I suspect he might put Henderson in for his experience. Jude’s next competitive match for England might be at the World Cup!
Negotiations between Newcastle and Burnley for James Trafford are underway. Club to club talks continue as the deal can happen from July, so expected to accelerate from next week. (Fabrizio Romano)
