I take it you mean Callum Wilson? I mean is that even up for debate, he should be nowhere near selection so surprised he even gets mentioned.
Because he was out injured in March we don’t know what Tuchel thinks of Madueke at all. So it will be interesting to see if he is involved. One of the bigger questions will be if Gibbs-White and/or Hudson-Odoi will be involved. And I will keen to see the goalkeeper list incase Trafford is there to mess up the U21 Euros.
I do. It was after Glenn Murray on co commentary asked him he thought Wilson would be involved. I think he was joking about thinking it was a serious prospect.
Ben White on playing for England: “I’m definitely available. I spoke to Thomas Tuchel a few times & he’s such a nice, nice man, very honest. Obviously I haven’t been back for too long, so it’s just about playing now & hopefully making my way back in.”
Not the right thread but since it’s occasional Arsenal talk, it’s disappointing to see Nwaneri’s lack of minutes lately, really feels like a bit of a step back. Only young I know but was hoping to see a bit more of a progression.
Don't think White has been great in this game, he wouldn't be making my squad, Trent, Reece and Livramento would be in before him for me.
Bellingham has got himself a yellow card for shouting at the Ref and misses the last match of the season next week.
Love him as a player but he really needs to refrain from doing these stupid things. He’s going to end up missing vital games over the coming seasons because he can’t hold his tongue.
Nottingham Forest are keen to tie down England pair, midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, 25, and winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, 24, to new contracts as soon as possible. (Football Insider) Real Madrid officials are reportedly concerned by Jude Bellingham's drop-off in form this season, having held several meetings to discuss the situation. (Daily Mail) Marcus Rashford has reportedly changed his mind on the conditions he would accept to leave Manchester United this summer. (Daily Express)

Adam Wharton is out for the last two matches of the season due to concussion but is probably fit enough to be involved in June if selected. Marc Guehi is out tomorrow but could be back for Sunday.
There is something for us to learn from the way Palace, Newcastle and Argentina approached recent big finals. In the case of the first two, they were aiming to break trophy droughts of 50+ years, Argentina were going for their first World Cup in almost 40 years and it had been a major weight on their shoulders. Yet all three teams learned their lessons from a failed first or second attempt and came out with no fear and an “everything to gain” mentality. I distinctly remember just before the start of the second half on Saturday, the camera panning to Eze as the Palace players walked back out and took their positions on the pitch ahead of kick off, he was smiling and having a giggle with one of his teammates. So so refreshing to see players just embrace the big stage and occasion, and Palace were better for it. We on the other hand, look terrified of our own shadow in these matches, we make no attempt to be protagonists, we never look to seize the initiative or force the issue. It feels like we’re almost spectators just allowing the game to play out and I just think this passive, risk averse approach needs a major rethink.
Angel Gomes has confirmed his departure from Lille. Not sure where he is going. Being on a free means he should have some decent options.
Webster and Welbeck start for Brighton. Rushworth, Dunk, Hinshelwood and Howell are on the bench. Quansah and Elliott start for Liverpool. Gomez, Jones and Alexander-Arnold are on the bench.
The worry is Angel Gomes gets a PL move and gets stuck in a squad barely playing. Not sure what would be a good landing spot for him in England. It’s a bit like Ross Barkley. He was a viable option at Luton. Obviously an outsider but when certain players make ‘bigger’ moves they just become depth options. They are then out of contention completely.
Palace have one of the highest English quotas this season. They seem to like buying young English talent
Lewis-Skelly, Rice and Gibbs-White have made Jamie Carragher’s team of the season but no English players made Gary Neville’s team of the season.
True, they have been successful getting English players from The Championship but I don’t think they’re like Barcelona where they’d bring in a player they wouldn’t otherwise buy if it wasn’t for their nationality.
