I watch next to nothing of Dortmund but Gittens keeps doing this all the way to March then he'll have to be in the side, even if he is still flawed. A big ask to continue this form though. We really do lack a left winger who has that cut inside and fire into the far corner goal in their bag. Every single world-class winger has that goal in their locker and can lean on it regularly. Gordon can only do it very sparingly and it's just not something Grealish can really do very often either.
Timeline updates on Google suggest it doesn't look too bad and was more Ancelotti being cautious. It's honestly hilarious how much better Bellingham (and Madrid) look with just one of Vinicius and Mbappé on the pitch. You simply can't play with two defensive passengers on the pitch.
Why are English players the most overplayed footballers in the world. Saka kane Bellingham etc all play nearly every minute
Combination of quality and work rate. 95% of world-class players with match-winning quality won't do the defensive work that Saka and Bellingham do. Manager's dream. It's to their own detriment at times.
This is a quote from Tuchel last year when he was still Bayern Munich manager: We've certainly hired a manager with an informed perspective on that debate. And if he was willing to be that forthright in his comments when he was managing in Germany, I'm sure he'll be skeptical of players like Bynoe-Gittens rather than favouring them.
It was also during the time when half the Bayern dressing room - particularly the players who have never played outside of Germany, turned on him. I can just see the meltdown now from those who wanted Southgate gone and then Tuchel calls up Raahford and/or Sancho and leaves our players more in vogue

I think there could be little serious argument that the mean quality of the premier league isn’t better than the Bundesliga by some distance. it’s also much easier for attackers, especially pacey attackers to look good in Bundesliga given the openness of the teams and prevalence of high lines. though with all that said Gittens is certainly still having the kind of season to put him on the radar, especially given he’s also doing it in the champions league. The left wing options he’s up against are also one of the weaker parts of the squad at any rate. None of the regulars from the current set up have really made a case for themselves at all so far this season.
Real seem determined to relive the galácticos era. Seems like they’re going to double down on it to given it seems they want both Davies and TAA at the end of the season which will only make their current issues fitting their star attackers in even more glaring
Forster and Solanke start for Spurs. Austin, Spence, Maddison, Gray and Lankshear are on the bench, Colwill, Palmer and Sancho start for Chelsea. Adarabioyo, Drewsbury-Hall and Madueke are on the bench.
