Quansah on for Trent at right back. This'll be interesting to see how he copes there against Doku.

This loss isn't solely their fault but but if the England squad were to be named this week then Walker, Lewis and Foden should be nowhere near it.

Without being harsh, if you could make an AI player, it'd probably look something like Rico Lewis.

I think Tuchel will quite possibly try and convert an attacker up to being right wing back.

Tuchel has played with a back 4 just as often if not more than a 3, literally nothing to suggest he'd play wing backs.

Gordon would be favourite if that happens.

International football arguably suits a back 3 but I’m not so sure the player pool does.

Does it? Who was the last team to win a tournament with a back 3?

I know this was rhetorical, but I think it would be:

    World Cup - 2002 (Brasil)
    Euros - 1996 (Germany)
    Copa America - 2015 (Chile)

Brasil and Chile are the only examples I can think of this century from these three tournaments.

Not seen it mentioned anywhere but I do think Man City’s struggles highlight the problem created by heavily relying on inverted full backs.

It just highlights how useful width from deep areas of the pitch can be to your squad when you are watching constant narrow slow possession.

Ipswich's ground looks like something out the 90s and I mean that in a good way.

I think it is will be a surprise if we see Luke Shaw play for England again. I think going forward it will be Lewis Hall who is the front runner to start under Tuchel but others exist as well like Mitchell or even moving someone who plays elsewhere normally.
