Think the full backs have been amongst the worst players, Stones and Colwill aren’t particularly quick but Tent and Lewis offer no cover.

 

Not a lot of other options.

We've looked obscenely soft defensively all night. Rico Lewis has been bullied.

People will be disinclined to put any blame on Colwill and Rico Lewis but they're playing their way of this XI I think. You can't have a back four where Stones is the only one with anything about them.

 

I feel like a defensive manager will be hired by the FA. Certianly won’t wan5 someone attacking like Potter I suspect.

 

Lewis has absolutely 0 physicality

 

Lampard isn’t a defensive manager though?

 

But who can play left back? Shaw is always injured.. Livramento? If Howe is hired we might get Dan Burn. Tuchel would love to bring back Chilwell.

 

The defence hasn’t had much cover but they’ve been atrocious. Lewis and Trent are not good enough defensively to play together. Think Stones and Colwill are too similar to play together too. Guehi should be first choice.

 

I think Colwill has been one of the few performers tbf.

You can probably get away with it if you have an elite genuine holding midfielder who can drop back to make a three, but without that it's suicidal.

Only what the Greeks deserved to be honest. We were absolutely awful when trying to defend and I only saw the second half!

 

He might not directly but people will assume he must have known. The rest of the league and football system would go mad at the FA.

 

Guehi should definitely be starting for this team. Shocking . Carsley wont end up permanently England boss.
