I'd say it's at least as bad, the only difference in that is Hungary scored 4 from 4 shots, Greece have probably created more.

Pickford distribution has been awful for as long as I can remember.

 

As much as the focus is on the lack of chances, we also need to recognise that the defence has just not been right. Two full backs who are average defenders at best, combined with a one man midfield is just asking for trouble.

The idea that you shift this guy around to accommodate Phil Foden is laughable. He's our best player by a mile.

Bellingham hasn't had a particularly good game, but he seems to have a knack of coming up with big moments. It's a good habit to have.

 

Unfortunately not talking to some the press means they will never accept that as it means rhwy would have to accept they power is declining. Even in articles that praise him get digs in about him not liking journalists.

 

That is what we are all hoping for, perhaps the only man that can get this group of players to perform?

I said this to my mates in our group chat. If you are going to play a midfield as expansive as this, you need to at least have fullbacks who are strong defensively. We’re basically playing a 2-1-7 formation.
