Sky Sports have done an interview with Ben White and haven’t asked him about England at all. Berry telling that a player starting for the team 3rd in the league is not asked about if he is hoping to be recalled for the Euro’s.

So little details given about Maguire. I wonder if Southgate is given more - in the past some clubs who are publicly secretive are privately secretive as well.

Graeme Souness believes we have the best attacking players in the world. If Southgate takes the foot of the hand brake,we would beat anyone in the world.

Rashford’s new interview has only made him more of a scapegoat. He needs some big performances in the next squad and for Man United to really justify his place at the Euros.

Are Challobah and Gallagher so institutionalised they can't imagine a life outside of Chelsea? It's bizarre how anyone would want to stay at a club that so obviously just sees them as sales collateral. You're in your prime. Go and join someone who values your talent and isnt simply itching to fill your position with the latest expensive new toy.

Players who've come through at Cobham seem to really love the club, it's like they have them under a spell or something. Bar one or two cases, the ones who leave are usually told to do so. It's particularly peculiar with these two though because more than most I think they'd benefit so much from leaving.

Anthony Gordon, I'd have thought. Player of the Tournament at the U21 Euros. Seven PL goals and five assists so far this season at just 22 years old. Some good Champions League performances. And he's proving himself to be a man for the big games having scored against each of the five ‘Big Six’ sides he has faced at St. James’ Park this term. Seems like a shoo-in for me.

Maybe but I can see Southgate just sticking with Foden, Raahford, Saka, Bowen, Maddison and Palmer for the wings and maybe even brining back the now fit Eze instead of calling up Gordon.

Lets be honest Southgate could make any number of selections (Eze, Gordon, Sterling, Barnes, Hudson-Odoi) and none of them would be particularly bad/wrong, Grealish might even be fit (Guardiola certainly didn't sound sure he would be out).

The general trend is that there are always fewer changes than we expect there to be.

The one things that won’t change is it will be unpopular on social media and in the traditional media.
