I could see him going to Bayern on loan. I think Tuchel wanted that extra DM so he could have Kimmich at RB off the ball and into a midfield box on it.

 

Angel Gomes is no defensive enforcer but he's not as bad defensively as his stats might suggest; he's certainly not a liability there. He's also excellent in the build-up and is arguably the most effective English midfielder in the first phase of play, something that would be a huge asset to how England play. You can't say the same about Ward-Prowse who while solid enough defensively is still worse than Phillips and Hendo in that department and on top of that is also fairly average in the buildup.

He's definitely not a like for like with Phillips but he'd be a great asset to play next to Rice in a double pivot in certain games.

Gibbs - White has come in for some criticism from Forrest fans recently for not being quite at his best so a big match for him today.

And he must be thinking about actually moving Foden centrally despite his recent comments.

 

Big game for Phillips now he is on. With Rodri suspended for three matches he might get a start in one of those if he plays well.

Also the first Bayern player to score 6+ goals in his first 5 Bundesliga games. I'm calling it early, Kane's going to go down as one of England's all-time greats.

He already is. Anyone who Denies that is either an arsenal fan or a scotsman/welshman.
He's undoubtedly the best striker we've ever had, the stats don't lie. His assist record for a striker is equally as impressive, you'd be forgiven for thinking he's a number 10 sometimes.

 

Not according to all those numpties who were saying, even just a few weeks ago, that he had to win a trophy first.

Southgate is at Turf Moor watching Burnley v Man United. There is only Trafford, Brownhill, Ramsey and Rashford playing. Was he hoping Maguire and/or Mount would be involved?

 

Trafford is another one who could easily get a call-up sooner rather than later. Nobody really has that 3rd keeper spot nailed down.

 

Maybe. Particularly as Ramsdale might be another controversial pick soon for playing time reasons.
