Thats because the TSN website (TSN.ca) and Sportsnet (Sportsnet.ca) websites didn't list the match in their TV schedules. Should have still listed the match and had TV listed as TBD aka "To Be Determined" - my error, sorry. (I'm not in Canada so I can't check but the match probably was shown on online at either TSN.ca or Sportsnet.ca via Sportsnet World Online.)
Italy's Serie A just moved the Roma v Juventus match back to Sunday which frees up beINSport to show the Wigan v QPR semifinal live on Friday, May 9th. Here is the Championship Playoff schedule: Thursday, May 8th 2014: 2:45pm Brighton v Derby County Friday, May 9th 2014: 2:45pm Wigan v QPR Sunday, May 11th 2014: 12:15pm Derby County v Brighton Monday, May 12th 2014: 2:45pm QPR v Wigan I would expect all but the Sunday match to be shown live on beINSport-1 as there are no conflicts with La Liga, Ligue-1 or Serie A. The Sunday match clashes with the big 3 La Liga matches that kickoff at 1pm ET and I expect a big simulcast for both beIN channels for those and the Championship match to be on delay later in the evening. SA www.soccertvblog.com
beIN have the Thursday (Brighton-Derby) match on their schedules at the moment. No update yet for Friday -- but that's good news!
NBC hasn't yet announced the channel assignments for the Sunday 11 Premier League games, right? Will they wait for the midweek games to complete so they know what's riding on each Sunday match?
I suppose that's the wise move. And the assignments aren't super critical since we all know that they will be on readily available over-the-air channels. Channel placement will depend on whether Chelsea are still mathematically alive. Decent chance that only two matches will matter - which is kind of a shame. Whomever is in first Sunday will get NBC, 2nd to NBCSN.

Expect an announcement later tonight- Wednesday - or early Thursday morning - as there is a conference call featuring Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White, studio host Rebecca Lowe, and coordinating producer Pierre Moossa scheduled for 11:15 am ET on Thursday. (I'm sure one of them would want to answer why such and such match is on a certain network etc - for that to be answered, the list of what matches on what network will have to be announced.) http://nbcsportsgrouppressbox.com/2...rlo-white-tomorrow-thurs-may-8-at-1115-am-et/

True but they put Fulham on E! However Manchester United is fit to play on Syfy - they had a horror of a season too - just not enough to get relegated though.
Well a team that used to have a Michael Jackson statue outside the stadium probably does deserve to be on E! http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-magazine-monitor-27310805

What is left to play for? Last relegation spot? Title? Is their still Europa League spot on line between Spurs and United?
When you factor in goal differential, there is nothing left to play for below 1st and 2nd. Kind of an unexpected dud of a final day.
Man United can clinch a Europa League spot with a win AND a Spurs loss. The title, of course is in play but that is it as the relegation list, CL spots and everything else is known. SA

If Manchester City draw against West Ham on Sunday, they are all but assured of winning the title because of far superior goal difference over Liverpool. If Liverpool beat Newcastle and Manchester City lose against West Ham on Sunday, Liverpool will win the Premier League title. Europa League: Tottenham will qualify for Europa League unless Manchester United win and Tottenham lose on Sunday. TV Update - Two matches on Sunday will have Spanish commentary - Manchester City vs West Ham United will be on Telemundo and Liverpool vs Newcastle United will be on Mun2.
