If Euro '24 represented the culmination of a disciplined and capable Swiss side, everything coming together for their best tournament of a group who've been together so long. This very much looks like a side going down the slope and looking their age. They've always overachieved relative to the talents in this generation but its really looking a tournament too far for them.
I thought Manzambi was the next big name coming from the Bundesliga? Not getting a chance again in a struggling Swiss team.

I wonder if they of Croatia might be a shock non QF for Euro 2028. With 24 teams it’s hard to do but both of those teams feel like things might head that way,
I'd not be surprised if that penalty eliminates Bosnia. They'll have to beat Qatar well now to get through.
DR Congo might also get 4 points. Then the goal difference will decide. Best case scenario I think would be that Martinez benches Ronaldo for their next match, and they start to play as a proper team. Worst case scenario is that they finish 3rd, qualify, and then he drops Ronaldo for the knockout against England (assuming England win the group).. But if Colombia beat DR Congo, I think Portugal will manage a draw against Colombia, giving them 5 points (assuming they win against Uzbekistan). Then Portugal will get 2nd place.
He should definitely start over useless Aebischer. Everyone expected him to start before the tournament. Well, after today he might start alongside Xhaka.
Went to pick up my daughter at 0-0. Seems I missed a few goals in Switzerland v Bosnia You are all very welcome
