Since Euro 2016 in the Bruno Bernardo older Ronaldo era aside from battering the Swiss in 2022 they have scored 1 knockout goal in Euros and WCs combined against Uruguay Slovenia Belgium France Morocco.

On paper we see all see Vitinha Neves Mendes but it's still very much the Bruno Bernardo old Ronaldo era and they struggle to score/create when it matters.

 

Not a good day for FIFA with the hydration breaks getting booed under roofs and in the rain.

Be interesting to see if they have them at the Women’s World Cup next year in Brazil. Much of Brazil is not that warm in June and July.

Commentator seemed a bit obsessed with saying a draw would effectively eliminate both as if the chance of a shock defeat by us or Croatia to one of these was near impossible. Rotated safely through sides losing to on paper weaker sides happened more than once at the last World Cup.

 

I can't see us losing to either of these teams. They look absolutely bereft of quality. We should win 3 out of 3

 

Ghana one foot in Croatia in trouble now but Panama have no choice but to go for a win against Croatia they can't sit back for the 0-0 draw.
