France are brilliant but they are projected to play Spain in the semi finals (obviously a lot can happen before then for this to happen). There’s every chance Spain just pass them to death like they did at Euro 2024.

France and Spain have been mirrors for a bit. France does well in WC and Spain does well at Euros.

Still early days let's see how the last 32 lines up. We are on pace for some big teams catching each other earlier than expected. Most predictions have been wrong so far.

I know, like I said in my previous post. Though, I don’t think it’s wise for the players to talk trash against a host nation and host crowd in Seattle. lol

Odegaard defineitly strikes me as a country before club player. It just looks like he cares more when playing for Norway, compared to Arsenal. For Haaland there is no difference, as he only have to touch the ball 10 times pr match anyway.

 

I get what you're saying horris but we've been lead to believe English academy product has improved massively over the last decade and I started to believe it but we're still miles off the realy top nations in certain departments. How come we're still not producing the doue dembele or mbappes or the pedri's or rodri's in midfield or even Vitinha. Is it too many foreign players in the English game? Anyway I'll try and lighten up

 

I don't want to judge to soon but Iraq handling Norway better than Italy.

I do wonder if they will end up in 2030 having a robot deliver the drinks to the players to end the impression it’s being used for a tactical break. They won’t be many cool matches at that World Cup

 

I don't want to say to much until after the first game. See how we play first.

 

What we can get (if we win the group) is the 3rd placed team in that group. And right now Norway looks like the team that will take that place.

 

Norway look a good old fashioned team. Putting crosses into box for the big man. Not many teams are use to defending that.
