I had a couple of big wins about 20 years ago. Lost most of the winnings with other bets. Have not made a bet in about 10 years. Its a mugs game.

I found out very quickly I'm a degenerate sports bettor so I had to stop before I'd go broke.

We're still not even halfway through the first day of the groups and I'm getting a little fatigued just by watching despite living in America and having a good sleep schedule.

 

Yan Diomande is the best player I’ve seen yet at this World Cup.

What a talent he looks.

 

He's been absolute quality all season in the Bundesliga. But because he hasn't yet made a big money move to the Premier League or displayed it in the Champions League, he's still not on everyone's radar

 

I was under the impression he was a left-winger so it's good to see him on the right - knowing if Liverpool sign him he won't be blocking Ngumoha.

Sweden have some quality but Tunisia's absolutely shocking.

 

I don't know exactly what the tweet is referring but a lot of foreigners on vacation here are realizing Americans are very welcoming and not what mainstream media feeds them.

So, take things like having your phones checked at airports is vastly exaggerated? I genuinely asking but I’m interested in what we have been lied to about?

I don’t think that’s ever been the issue, we all know how welcoming the US people can be, same way how people in the UK can be also.
