Good for you not living in America. Imagine those brave black women living in the United States, including a secure Kenyan woman I work with.
What's that suppose to mean? Different people have different fears of visiting other countries. USA, I'm not gonna force mate.

The BBC pundits have voted for who they think will win the World Cup. France got 9 votes, England 7 and Spain 1. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cg7485gyxz9o
Spain are undefeated in 29 outside penalties, id have them as considerable favourites. Main question about them is Yamal and Williams who have both been suffering with injuries and who have basically been the key to evolving them from the toothless Spanish sides of the prior decade. Just a gut feeling with France but I don't see it happening for them. I don't think they will necessarily have a disaster but they're adapting a much more attacking set up which isn't really how Deschamps has liked to set up, coupled with his long announced departure. Last time he tried to drastically change their style it ended in their worst tournament performance, when they were knocked out tof euro 2020 in the RO16 against Switzerland.
🚨🇫🇷 𝗡𝗘𝗪: In France, it has NOT gone down well that Kylian Mbappé left the national team camp after the friendly against Northern Ireland.Although his departure was approved for personal reasons, he was later seen in Madrid with his partner. Some fans believe he is… pic.twitter.com/HcwxjhfQJZ— The Touchline | 𝐓 (@TouchlineX) June 10, 2026

Ronaldo´s miss against Nigeria looks worse and worse with every replay... Without him starting, they´d be one of the top favourites for the title imo.
Yes Spain could go out with penalties in a 1-1 or 0-0 because of their style of play but it's hard to see anyone beating them. Outside 2014/16 since 2008 they simply don't lose games without pjs anymore. France I agree to an extent. I think they do lack a midfield maestro and would be smart to use Cherki as a 10 because their midfield can lack creativity and control. We also have to remember historically it is very hard to go to three straight world cup finals. Brazil did it with 94 98 2002 and perhaps France are the new Brazil in terms of player production. In many ways Mbbappe Dembele Olise is the Ronaldo Rivaldo Ronaldinho of 2026 but it is very difficult to do. The more I think about it they are very much 2002 Brazil. Ok never mind they will win it.
No one has won a world cup with a 40 year old in their squad let alone as the starting CF. Ramos is not near world class but he has legs to press. Ronaldo is extending his odds of winning a world cup and lowering Portugals.
If you keep relying on a 40-year-old who definitely past his prime, what does that say about the depth of your squad?
Just to let everyone know I got Spain in the swapstake at work. So if you have any money on them I'll apologize now for them going out in the group stage.
Imagine if one or some of these USA players get injured for celebrating hard like this… Though, I can understand a lot of these chaps are from New York.
