I wouldnβt be shocked if suggests leaving a spot or two open for FIFA to pick and then he picks China and/or India just for the revenue boost. Nigeria another country FIFA would like to see return and they wouldnβt mind Indonesia making it as well.
A campaign ans been launched in Spain for them to cancel their hosting of the 2030 World Cup if FIFA gives the final to the Morocco as is widely being rumoured.
India are terrible, they couldn't justify that on sporting grounds, they frequently lose to teams like Hong Kong and Singapore. And why would any other countries agree to it?
So apparently itβs because Trump is pressuring FIFA to give it to Morocco because of his rift with Spain over Palestine and the Iran war. Do FIFA not realise heβll be out of the picture by 2030 so it wonβt matter what he wants!?
I remember that days when FIFA came down hard on Countries whose governments interfered in Football matters. Not sure whatβs happened but they havenβt a leg to stand on if all of a sudden they disqualify some African Country due to Government interference.
I find it interesting that most European visitors for the World Cup I interacted with felt like they were in a Hollywood movie settings. lol

All tournament i've thought France will come unstuck when they face a midfield who are capable of isolating their midfield, and Spain are as good as it gets at that. I think Spain will get over the line 1-0 or 2-1, possibly after extra time. Spain absolutely destroyed this system when they played each other in the Nations League last year, though that Spain attack was a lot more functioning than what we've seen from Spain this tournament.
How on earth can that tackle from Olise not be a booking? It's inconceivable you can give it as a free kick and not book a player for that. Arguably even a red card challenge.
One thing that has been very annoying this world cup is refs being unable to control the penalty box after penalties have been given and instead letting endless arguments about it. Guehi is the only player who seems to have actually been punished for it. Mbappe should have been booked as soon as he ignored the refs instruction to leave.
Similar thing in literally every single dead ball situation. They all take an absolute age to be taken. I've found it utterly infuriating.
Once the Ref/VAR confirm, it should be 5 seconds then any outfield defending players still in the box get booked. Would soon sort out the nonsense.
Cherki would be better in Olise's position. He'd be an enormous upgrade on Madueke but after what I've seen from him so far he wouldn't start over Saka for England imo. He's not playing in his best position on the right wing for France though to be fair. He'll pribably score a hatty now lol
