Amerikaki- Don't fret too much over these friendlies. Yea, they didn't turn out as well as we would've hoped, but there's a lot of good to take from these results. First of all, Croatia's result should be considered void, as half the Italian team didn't play, plus Italy's mired in controversy and just played a friendly after winning the world cup.....a definite step down on the ladder. Russia clawed its way to beat a very mediocre Latvian squad, one that we can all agree is not half the team Israel is. England managed to destroy Greece......but can they do it when it counts? Israel played Slovenia, a fairly strong side, and managed to cede only one goal minus Tal Ben Haim. However, if they want to have a shot at EURO, they desperately need Ben Haim in the lineup.
