If you haven't already voted for Zusi's strike, get on it... text AND online for Zusi

the obvious bias toward LA has reared its head yet again... text voting for Robbie is 3x the amount of the Zusi vote, which makes sense that those who HAVE seen the actual goals are voting for Zusi, whereas the name recognition and non-visual text vote is the other way around...

    have a good day...

Actually I thought Oduro had the nicest finish and Dixon's goal was probably overall better as well - created his own space and then put a good strike on it. But I agree, Keane's goal was only nominated because he's Keane; it was a side foot pass into an empty net FFS.

How on earth did that goal get nominated?

Because it's Robbie Keane from David Beckham...

I thought Zusi's goal was the best. MLS players seem to have a problem striking long range shots without them going way high or side. It is refreshing for someone in this league to have a cannon like that with some accuracy. I thought the rest of the goals this week were good but nothing spectacular. Keane's goal was the keeper midplaying the ball and Keane having the composure to allow the keeper to bite. It was more a mark of good decision making by a wise veteran than it was a great goal. However, composure from strikers like that is also something that lacks in this league. I think the composure in the box is one of the reason JPA was so successful coming into the league and why Keane will be as well. MLS defenders and keepers do not deal with that a lot here.

Looks like everyone was intelligent enough to see the brilliance of the goal. Zusi wins.
