So where's the evidence you say you need before giving such an unqualified stamp of approval? Do I detect a double standard?

As for calling me an asshole, I've been called worse by better people, over stuff that actually matters, so no worries--right back atcha.

Again, Shiek, time to get a life, or, in the absence of one, I guess you can feel free to keep talking to yourself on this thread and others. Maybe someone will eventually shut you up, because the crass no-it-all-broken-record routine really gets in the way of conversation, which is the point of this forum. If there are fewer people posting here than elsewhere, it's all on you, bud. No one has infinite patience for someone like you who's got nothing to say, but says it way too loud and rude. Time to learn some basic social skills.

Of course, feel free to reply to this in whatever crude, mindless way you see fit, just so you can ease your ego by getting in the "last word." See ya.

Posting once a day here has nothing to do with life... "get a life" is so childish.

Look, I don't know you personally. But when you keep going on and on about something that is blatantly false (Soehn was Lenarduzzi's hiring) it just is a little bit annoying. Simple as that.

Your moderator friend seems to think posting falsehoods is ok; and send me an infraction for calling you an A-Hole:)

That's ok. Neither of us should take this too seriously, but for the 5 minutes I spend a day on BigSoccer, I have to let my thoughts known.

    Dear whiteisthecolour

So, you gave me an infraction for calling someone an a-hole.

You have also banned and warned other people during your time as moderator

There are about 5 guys that post here regularly, why is that ?

You are trying to run this like a G Rated Elementary school. No arguing, no debating, no disagreements, no swearing, nothing. At the same time you support and defend a poster who is blatantly lying because he does not like a particular individual. You won't let me debate sportie1 who posts bogus things all the time.

A moderator should do things such as delete repetitive threads, merge threads, stop racism or porn, illegal content, things like that......... what you are doing is making this your own personal domain where everyone has to follow your sanitized and G rated lifestyle or you will kick them out.

Now, I am giving an opinion. Banning me would only show that you can't take feedback. Why not give me some points as to why you want this to be a place full of G Rated pacifists.

Sadly, Dehun is on to something. People don't post here because you ruin discussions. Just as a previous sheik before you was ruining this board - (although his in much more ridiculous fashion debating Captain Vancouver) Your attempts to stifle any type of discussion with your absolutes and insults. You have yet to back up your opinions with any links to prove what you say. Yes, dehun may have a grudge against Bobby, but thats his opinion - it does not make him an asshole. For people to have their doubts regarding bobby taking the rains in the future is justified, yes he enjoyed success with the caps and have been with them for many season, but most of those seasons were in sub par leagues.

Calling people out, insults and your attempts to get under peoples skin make this a place I rarely want to visit, which would take the total posters down to 4 I guess.

I have only posted here for a short while; there were barely any posters before I arrived too.

Go ahead and defend a blatant liar and G Rated moderation. Have fun with it.

I am also a moderator and have zero issues with the way WitC mods.

It's not G-rated, it just doesn't have to be over the top all the time, not everything is black and white. What is apparent is that there is little traffic here. My theories are a combination of you being here and thus the conversation/debate level suffers as dewhitecapfan alluded to, and the fact that a lot of people are either a) At the Southsiders or V's board or b) people don't care about the Caps like we think they would have/should have.

Arguing over the internet is stupid.

You know, saying that ME causes people to not post here is quite absurd. I mean, is that all you can say?

When I joined, the board still only had 4 - 10 regular posters and maybe 2 or 3 new posts a day. This is very similar to what we have now. I also did not make any outrageous or annoying posts until these past two weeks when this whole "Bobby hired Soehn" thing got me wound up.

I am not the reason this board is very quiet' it was quiet before I registered and I was a fine and normal poster up until this particular incident. Although I did try to put some heat on that sportie1 character too.

I have to agree with this. I am an admin on the Southsiders forum and on days where the trolls run wild our traffic is often halved. And that's even with about 300 active daily accounts.

That said I would say the biggest reason for the little traffic here is because almost everyone uses the Southsiders forum or Facebook and support for the Whitecaps isn't as big or diverse enough to span multiple sites of the same.

There actually used to be a lot more regulars here several years ago. I think this board quieted down when the Southsiders really began their push for their board at the matches at Empire. Their board has a lot of content, I just loathe how it is organized.

(PS- My "style" of moderation has nothing to do with personal standards of my own. BigSoccer has guidelines for conduct that everyone agrees to when they get an account.)

Well, thanks for not blaming me for the decline in posters. You didn't have many posters when I signed up here. And, my posts were all fine and normal until I got mad at the guy going on about Bobby.

Anyways, it is what it is. I won't call people A-Holes (but I may think it!). Hopefully you an moderate away from having falsehoods posted and leave this forum for discussions and speculation.

Well, it looks like TS is leaving the organization soon.

So tell me dehun, do you still stand by your statements that he is "bobby's hire". I think with him leaving so soon after the Barber announcement just backs up the facts that PB hired him.

    I am just saying.....

Ya, the statement that he is "free to pursue interests outside of the club" is pretty telling

I think so. Basically the club doesn't want him but also is trying to be classy and not firing the guy. At least it will be a friendly parting of the ways.

Now of course, someone has to want to offer TS a job!

That option is pretty much open to anyone within the club at any time. People can quit and apply somewhere else even if they are under contract. I don't think that signals much from the club.

In any other sports franchise, when a coach has the kind of year TS had, they don't just leave him "free to pursue interests outside the club"--they can him. And the sooner the better. Rennie doesn't need that albatross around his neck.
