:) I'm sure it will be just fine. He's pretty close to the mark.

He certainly is pretty close to that magic 75% of competitive ‘A’ team matches... He made his debut last September and has only played 7 competitive games. That is why his permit was rejected and whether he gets it on appeal is far from certain. If he does, he can thank Croatia's current FIFA ranking. Regardless, I was correct in that he will not play any games in England until he gets a permit.

It is normal to get the player signed on first. Of course most clubs check to see if a player makes the criteria for a work permit beforehand. When Liverpool signed Mark Gonzalez we had to wait an extra year due to problems getting a work permit. Liverpool's Lucas has only just got his Italian passport and can now play for Liverpool. I believe Chelsea are still having issues with getting a work permit for Alex which is why he is still in Holland.

As for Eduardo, my latest intel is that he is undergoing an application process for a work permit. He is borderline in terms of qualifying but will probably get one. However this will almost certainly come too late to play this weekend. :(

Ugh, I hate this new bigsoccer skin. The whole page is white.

There are some cool skins but those are for MLS teams - they need to get some epl team ones, or just different color variations of this.

It looks exactly the same as it always has for me. Except for the front page, where none of the links work, I've still got the same old yellow and white.

Getting anxious about these games. With Ade, Rosicky and Theo out, and Dudu apparently not allowed to play, it will be interesting to see what we throw out there.

EDIT: Aaack!! I switched to the Crew skin, just to see how it looked, wasn't impressed. When I set it back to "Big Soccer", I got the new skin, which is blinding, and the drop-down for changing skins is gone! Gross.

Well, I'm on ATVO, and all I've got so far is a still graphic announcing that kickoff is at 4:15. They usually would be on air 15-20 minutes before kickoff. Am I converting my times wrong?

    Bueller? Bueller?
So is the Arsenal match supposed to be on STAR TV after the Asian Cup match?
(where every penalty has been taken brilliantly so far...looks like it'll go forever!)
