It rocks so effin' hard! It splices the lyrics of Eminem's "Cleaning Out My Closet" with a guitar riff that sounds halfway like the really rockin' part of Bowie's "Suffragette City" or Blur's "Bugman." (Footix please tell me where the guitar sample is really from.) I heard this song a few hours ago on a British radio station, and I am so hooked! It's available here: http://www.boomselection.info/ Download it now!!
Wow...that track kills. Boom Selection is awesome. That riff is so familiar, but I can't place it, plus I've got a few beers in me so my recall's not what it should be. Plastic Bertrand, maybe? Thanks for the link.
Are you guys kidding me? This shite SUCKS. It made it all "soft" for you delicate pu$$y rock fans. Original version is 1000000000X better.
Serg- You're just mad there's no video of your boy Marshall in superhero tights or drag for this tune.
The original sucked, and this sucks even more. Know why that riff sounded so familiar, cause it's like a total 3 chords.
I'm no big Em fan myself, but I love how this track is revved up on this remix. Astorian--have you seen that 3 disc MP3 comp that the Boom people offer for sale? It looks like it's got everything they've ever featured, and then some. I got the Too Many DJ's (Vol 2) disc, and it's total fun. The Salt N Pepa/Stooges track is amazing.
They're playing this version on LIVE 105 in the Bay Area, which is where I first heard it, and I also think it is a lot better than the original. It makes the song a lot more powerful in my mind. -Adam
No, I haven't seen it, but I must check it out! Thanks, Footix! I'll look for it on the site. Is the Salt N Pepa/Stooges track on the disc?
