    "The 5-foot, 11-inch, 175-pound forward..."

Looks like he's grown an inch and gained 15 pounds since last week.

    Welcome to DCU, Lucky!

Which is a total effing joke. I can see having some sort of claim to the top 10, then it's all very gray after that.

    Emilio gets 11...

    Moreno 9, Gomez 10, Emilio 11.

    I'm liking it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Emilio is a forward.

as far as I know he's a typical target forward like Ronaldo or Van Niyterooy, so we will most likely be using Moreno - Emilio two forwards system.

He can even be the lone striker when Moreno gets subed out.

I am REALLY excited about this signing. He's had 4 league scoring titles. D.C.'s always been great at signing under-the-radar South American talent. Case in point Christian Gomez.

I'm pretty sure Moreno will get his 9 back unless we sign Ronaldo.

I'm planning to get a new Moreno 9 shirt.

Adu is gone - Moreno will likely grab his #9 back

I've always felt a little wierd seeing Moreno wearing #99. Be kind of like Olie Kolzig wearing a number like #30 after years of #37.

I'm sure thats what people in marketing and sales are counting on - We're keeping The Thumb for one more season - But if Moreno goes back to Number 9, there will be a lot of repeat sales of his jersey - Who says these guys aren't savvy

Excuse me if I am not excited about signing someone from the Honduran league. Also see he played 2nd division in Germany and Mexico. This isnt even a 6 figure signing....at least I hope it isnt.

You're excused. The Hondoruan league is at the VERY LEAST comparable to the MLS and DCU just signed the leading scorer for the past three seaasons. This is good.

Your joking, aren't you? This guy is the top scorer in the league, and we've been after him for 2+ years. Who knows how he'll turn out, but I'm much more excited about this than I am about the Ruy rumors, even though Ruy played in the Brasileirão.

Though, I am disappointed about not being able to chant "Cabeção."
