Or, are they setting up a meet-cute 3 way, when Brogan invites each one to his studio without the other knowing.

Elon had multiple late night meetings with Engineers to berate them over his falling follower Numbers and that the engagements on his tweets are dropping. One of the examples provided is that Joe Biden’s tweet joking about being neutral as President, but Go Eagles as a Jill’s husband absolutely crushed Musk’s Go Eagles tweet. After the game, Musk, reportedly, flew straight back to the Twitter HQ in which he demanded that engineers finds ways to push his tweets out to a larger audience and to artificially increase his numbers. I have Musk blocked, so didn’t see it, but apparently Musk’s tweets and replies were everywhere on the Monday after the Super Bowl. I do recall there being a spike in people posting about Musk replying to horrible people, so maybe related. https://www.businessinsider.com/mus...orithm-tweets-didnt-get-attention-book-2024-2
given the number of stories about Musk artificially inflating his numbers, I would not be shocked if he has ordered the engineers to juice the engagements for advertisers as well…

Does the US government have any recourse here? It’s just insane that a US defense contractor is helping an enemy so much. No longer blocked, Russians are pouring Musk's starlinks to the front to help them murder people in Ukraine. pic.twitter.com/V6bRAuRTk9— Jay in Kyiv (@JayinKyiv) February 28, 2024
It's complicated. While Ukraine is primarily using consoles from Starlink's defense side, there are still a lot of Ukrainians using private consoles on the front and behind the front. Starlink can't exactly block all private consoles in Ukraine without also blocking consoles being used by Ukrainians...
Is it a great idea to have a vatnik as a key defence contractor? Community notes for the win pic.twitter.com/m3J25WO2gV— Republicans against Trump (@RpsAgainstTrump) March 3, 2024
I would certainly hope that the DoD is investigating their SpaceX contracts based on Musk's public actions. He is clearly acting in Russia's best interests on defense related topics.. He's legitimately activating for the dissolution of NATO, which is crazy for a DoD contractor.
I truly don't understand the stance against NATO for some of these Americans. It's not like it costs America more to be part of NATO. They'd spend the money regardless of their NATO involvement. And in return, they get lots of additional access to Europe that may not otherwise be possible without NATO.
Why do you want to limit his free speech…is an argument Tokyo Rose had too much self respect to trot out back in the day.
Three interlocking factors. 1. Some is just neo isolationism 2. Many see the current world conflict as traditional values vs. wokeness. As a result, they see us and NATO on different sides of that conflict. They don’t see the fundamental world conflict as democracy vs. autocracy. 3. Many people don’t truly understand what NATO is and seem to believe that we are paying extra money on defense that feckless Europeans are saving.
In theory, we spend too much money on the military, most people on the left want to cut that, But when we are playing world police and have alliances all over the world, it gets hard to cut because we have to be ready to defend everyone. On the other hand, spending 2.9% of GDP on the military may be cheaper in the long run, than having to actually fight some big war. Basically 2.9% of GDP per year and avoids/postpones a war against China and/or Russia vs 1.5% of GDP yearly but having to fight more wars, more often where we have to spend 25-50% of GDP to fight those wars.
