I guess we will find out soon enough as this guy posted the whole document on X with the private info removed. Here is the entire JD Vance Dossier, that Ken Klippenstein was banned for posting, with some private information censored out. I'll make this a thread, and it will take me some time to post, but I'll post 1 page per thread post.(Thread - Page 1 of 229) - This is the cover… pic.twitter.com/D5ndFMI52v— Ed Krassenstein (@EdKrassen) September 28, 2024
remember when he banned taylor lorenz and other MSM journos for invented offences like publishing assassination coordinates?
Isn't the story, (such as it is, as you say), that it wasn't being covered by other media? In that respect the personal stuff in it wasn't relevant one way or another... so maybe just take it out?
Can't help thinking that's part of it but he truth is, it's not like elrond needs an excuse to be a dick.
I am not sure what you're trying to say. Doxxing in social media is a pretty standard violation of terms. You could say it was a link to an outside source although the effect can be just the same.
My problem is with people using Elmo's own bullshit rationalisations Even if you accept the idea that KK doxed anyone on substack - the idea that he would be permanently banned on twitter rather than just have the link blocked is absurd and an obvious attack on journalists covering Elmo's mates. This is is far beyond anything old Twitter did. Especially when you consider Elmo routinely allows doxxing of other political actors, not to mention unsafe content like Nazi websites etc KK would have been banned no matter what IMO
Remember Musk is also lying when twitter put out a statement (unusual for them) saying the ban was not permanent, while meanwhile KK has been told it's permanent. In other words, this is all a made up bullshit attack on journalists
BYD lost $2.4 billion in 2023. I'm wondering if Elon ends up bailing them out, eventually, giving him the low end consumer car that Tesla lacks.
It seems Google and Facewank have also blocked the dossier lol - just because - which goes against Zuckus comments since 2020 Some speculation that Zuckus in particular is just pre-surrendering to any Trump regime that he won't cause them any trouble in the future
Yes. Permanent ban is pretty BS. But the redacted dossier full content is still up on Twitter on that other post.
Blocked the dossier being posted or is suppressing the story from being shared ? Facebook AFAIK has a policy of not allowing hacked documents on its platform. Which is why they didn't allow the Hunter Biden stuff on.
You got nailed by lazy reporting. It wasn't BYD that lost $2.4b, it was Vinfast, which reporting is calling "the BYD of Vietnam". But yeah.. Vinfast's first car is crap. I can't remember who it was, but one of the car reviewers on youtube called it the worst car that they ever reviewed. https://fortune.com/2024/02/23/vinfast-losses-electric-vehicles-tesla-byd/ Here's a video of Donut Media driving the car after Vinfast made a number of fixes. It sounds like they fixed a number of the issues, but still a crap car compared to all of the other EVs out there.
Masnick has now covered this farce Big Tech’s Promise Never To Block Access To Politically Embarrassing Content Apparently Only Applies To Democrats It probably will not shock you to find out that big tech’s promises to never again suppress embarrassing leaked content about a political figure came with a catch. Apparently, it only applies when that political figure is a Democrat. If it’s a Republican, then of course the content will be suppressed, and the GOP officials who demanded that big tech never ever again suppress such content will look the other way. A week and a half ago, the Senate Intelligence Committee held a hearing about the threat of foreign intelligence efforts to interfere with US elections. Senator Tom Cotton, who believes in using the US military to suppress American protests, used the opportunity to berate Meta and Google for supposedly (but not really) “suppressing” the Hunter Biden laptop story: Exactly one week and one day after that hearing, Ken Klippenstein released the Trump campaign’s internal vetting dossier on JD Vance. It’s pretty widely accepted that the document was obtained via hacking by Iranian agents and had been shopped around to US news sites for months. Klippenstein, who will do pretty much anything for attention, finally bit. In response, Elon immediately banned Ken’s ExTwitter account and blocked any and all links to not just the document, but to Ken’s Substack. He went way further than anyone ever did regarding the original Hunter Biden laptop story and the content revealed from that laptop. We noted the irony of how the scenario is nearly identical to the Hunter Biden laptop story, but everyone wants to flip sides in their opinion of it. Elon being a complete ********ing hypocrite is hardly new. It’s almost to be expected. That combined with his public endorsement (and massive funding) of the Trump/Vance campaign means it’s noteworthy, but not surprising, that he’d do much more to seek to suppress the Vance dossier than old Twitter ever did about the Hunter laptop story. So, what about Meta and Google? After all, literally a week earlier, top execs from each company said in a Senate hearing under oath that they would never seek to suppress similar content this year.
Depends what you mean by making a profit. BYD (and all Chinese EV companies) get so many subsidies from the Chinese government that they turn a profit before they sell a car. If that subsidy went away, they'd likely go under almost immediately. So, yes, BYD is profitable, but they likely wouldn't be if they weren't getting a ton of subsidies.
Just saying he gave elrond a pretty easy out and it's not like the guy needs an excuse to be a dick in supporting the right.
Elon Musk’s X is worth nearly 80% less than when he bought it, Fidelity estimates | CNN Business CNN reporting that Elon Musk paid $44 billion for X...and today, it's worth $9.4 billion!
