Will the election seremony be televised internationally? Could I see it possibly through streaming video (through internet)? Internet radio broadcast even?

    chamillionaire, nice graphics & wrap-up.

IIRC, the candidates stand up & give a pitch before the voting. MadridForever gave us a real nice summary of that last election.

I think you need to register them when they're young because there's a waiting list. There's a fixed number of socios and in order to be one you need a socio to die or something and take his/her place... that's what I heard

Nice work chamillionaire. Th only name to add that I can think of is Pablo (the Atleti central defender) to the Palacios campaign. He's been saying on several programs that he will announce three players tomorrow (Friday) and that two are Spanish. One is said to be Joaquin, whom Camacho loves. The other isn't confirmed, but journalists are saying it is Pablo.

What was interesting in Sanz's campaign was Gago. Up to now, no one has mentioned him. Hopefully, other candidates will take notice and attempt to land him once a president is elected. I still like the Calderon camp. With Cesc a done deal, he needs to add a few defenders to his pitch. Canavaro will not be expensive to add. Carvalho won't take more than 15 million to land. Pablo Manuel is an option worth investigating. There are many that are available and are worth taking a good look at.

Let's remember, for all candidates, that these 'done deals' are with agents or directly with players, not with actual clubs they belong to today. Calderon has said he has reached a five year agreement with Cesc's agent, he would still have to negotiate with Arsenal.

    Who is Pablo Manuel?

Yes, all arrangments have been made with the agents. But you would think that since the players have signed a contract with Real, it means that they want to play for this team. And I meant Pablo Ibanez.

    Thx!

I didn't know Pablo Ibáñez was even linked with us, god knows we need some CB's. But i added him to Palacios list.

It is just a different way to say Part 2. For example, the comedy movie "Hot Shots - Part Deaux".

Oh yeah, :D I never liked Charlie Sheen or Emilio Estevez. Any chance of using that "Last of the Summer wine" idea? You could say 'Summer whine'! :) I'd give you a rep, and give negative reps to your 10 worst enemies!

Chamillionaire, nice work on the setup mate! That's real useful.

Someone mentioned that Rooney would never get sold. I would wholeheartedly agree, except that there is already tension between Rooney and Ferguson/United. They apparently lied to the press and the FA about the seriousness of his injury as to keep him out of the World Cup. I understand and almost support United here, but obviously Rooney was pissed as hell. He released a statement with the FA stating that United lied..I'm surprised more hasn't been made about it.

Rooney is a type of player I could see at Madrid down the road..

Forget about it. Man U know more than anyone in the world that if they are to have any sort of success in the near or long term future, Rooney has to be a member of their team. I'd say Ronaldinho is more likely to come to Real than Rooney.

The only thing that would remove Rooney from Old Trafford is his own ego. On that basis I think it's quite reasonable (cf. Cristiano Ronaldo).

who said they would want to sell him? However C. Ronaldo has said he wants to leave. That's all that is needed for a player to leave a club... hence Cassano.

Oh yeah I would probably think about purchasing Freddy Adu now, he seems to be growing in the MLS, so it would be nice to get him now develop him and reap benefits later on, what do you think.

Oh yeah here is a shot of a goal he scored yesterday....

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=e6pU0gia6Xg

He is only 16.... he could be a good investment...
