Not that we have a lot of choice, but knowing our luck of late one of Cas or Bruno will get booked or injured

Happy for pellestri. Bench is poor but it is what it is. Choke the game off with a professional performance

I want a first half goal so in the second we can see

Sabitzer, Dalot, Sancho, Elanga, McTominay come on.

I think so. Anytime you have two goalkeepers, it means your reaching.

Two keeps, plus elanga and mct and a stuttering Sancho. If we need a goal (and we shouldn't ) we are screwed.

Tbh we have injuries which is part of the reason. But we need better depth.

Varane minutes being managed is good to see. Just means we will have to suffer Maguire - probably because Lindelof only just back from illness - so our 4th choice gets a runout :)

If things going ok, expect to see Lindelof and Sabitzer get some minutes for match fitness later.

Sabitzer in particular needs some prep given not played for a while owing to injury - as will be important player for us with Cas being out for 4 games and would expect him to start at the weekend.

Gonna need every one of those 3 goals to stay in this one. Yikes.

    0-1 Rashford :)

    60' Fred departs for Sabitzer
    60' Rash out for Sancho

    68' Bruno out for Elanga

    75' AWB out for Dalot
    75' Martinez out for Lindelof

Cas being left on will surely know he needs to behave himself.

Had some chances for some more goals but not taken.

Sancho (offside) but should square it for a tap-in, instead hits it at the keeper. Seen that move a few times from different players last few weeks.

Game meandering to its inevitable conclusion. Nice for the result to be done for a change and to be able to relax watching :)

Elanga has gotten the ball in plenty of good positions but jeez every single time he makes the wrong decision. Sabitzer is exasperated with him.

He needs to be sold this summer before his stock falls any further. If we have everyone in the squad, including loanees, he's (IMO) behind Rash, Antony, Sancho, Garnacho, Pellestri, and Diallo. I see no point in keeping a 7th string guy when there are higher potential young players already in front of him.
