    cuatro meses sin triunfos

It had to be done . This way only the players that are dedicated to the Club will get back to buisness. There are rumors flying around that the squad is divided into two camps between Loco Abreu and Palencia. If this is the case then renegotiating contracts can be the ideal thing to do.

Palencia - Apoyado por los Mexicanos
Abreu - Apoyado por los Extranjeros

Cruz Azul es Abreudependiente. Necesita mas creatividad con su ataque.

Pues parece que los jugadores no van a firmar los nuevos contratos -

    http://www.mundosoccer.com/noticia.asp?13032003020

All I can say is - Wow. It appears they may have to pull out of the Libertadores tourney and pay whatever fines CONMEBOL imparts.

  12. The Next Cruz Azul - Pumas game is going to be @#!?. Cruz Azul hidalgo is right now the worst team at Primera A.

    New news

Cruz Azul's directiva has opened the door gain for further negotiation. Maybe they are rethinking their posture which is very expensive and which woiuld leave Cruz Azul totally helpless in the Local tournament and in Libertadores. See note:

    That's WANKSTER!

This blows hopefully they can come to an agreeement and move on. I never heard of such of crazy scheme to renegotiate a player contract during the season in order to finish the season better.

Cruz Azul is leading by luck!

Looks like they were awarded a PK and some guy I'm not familiar with knocked it in. I saw some highlights and it did'nt look too good for CA. Pumas seems to have taken it up a step. At the half Azul leads Pumas.

Aguila you watching this live or are you catching the box score on another telecast? Either way Cruz Azul is showing some heart.

I agree they played with heart but the talent drain is tremendous. Had Pumas tied up the game at one (and they came very close. thanks Fonseca :) ) they would have rolled over the youngsters.

On the bright side, it's nice to see Cacho still doing good things. Mario Ortiz, minus a few flubs, showed he has talent. On defence, Aaron Galindo had his best game all season. The mid-field still looks sloppy and the lack of a creative midfielder is something that hurts the team's attack.

During the broadcast they mentioned that Conejo Perez and Melvyn Brown have renewed talks with the team and may be back. Unfortunately, the team needs Palencia, Abreu, and Pinheiro back.

I don't think Cruz Azul should get too comfortable because the 1st PK was BS and UNAM should have won had it not been for Fonseca, who only needed to have scored an own goal to have the worst performance of the year in the MFL.
