I recall that Valdez trip like it was yesterday. Such a blatant trip and somehow, the linesman and referee conveniently missed it.
The worst part is people berating those of us who would call out these incidents and say we're idiots or nutjob conspiracy theorist. Fast forward to the future and it's proven they literally paid the manipulate officiating for almost two decades though. No conspiracy. Literal facts.

The guys can do it. They’ll dig deep again. I’m quite calm about today. We have cushion if something bad happens. I’m driving back from Vegas hoping to make kickoff. But best of luck to the lads and all of us too.
The line up sounds more like forced choices because of the fatigue than real technical/tactical decision
This. Nacho did fine vs City, so why not give Kroos a rest (he already looked dead tired half way vs City) and let AT take his natural role?
Same, and I'm not a fan of the Modric-Kroos midfield in a 2024 Clasico. Oh well, it is what it is. Not convinced, but the team has no excuses; they must win in order to approach the Bayern games as calm as possible, period.
You have Fran Garcia and Nacho on the bench if you want to rotate. I'm very worried about a midfield of Kroos and Modric getting overrun again by Barca, as we've seen multiple times the past few years.
Carlo might opt for another low block. Not optimal but honestly even with a loss, we still have a 5point lead. Then again…I really want the 15th and am much more focused on the CL than LL
I'm not. It would be a disaster if we gave away the league, even if highly unlikely. The focus should be on giving us the best possible chances at both, and this game is an essential one to achieve both goals. In fact, this is a must win (at least a must not lose) game as far as I'm concerned, because a win/draw allows us to coast to the LL title during the busy CL schedule.
Call me old school, but I really think you need to have at least one defensive midfielder in a game like this. Nacho played a great game vs. City, and now he is riding a bench and our only real defensive midfielder is starting at his spot. Sometimes I do not understand Carlo, but i trust that he knows what he is doing. Lets win this. Hala!
