Where is Arbeloa "the Messi Stopper" when you need him ?

Mendy has a HUGE game ahead of him.

We’re going to massively miss Hazard for this one. The only in-form forward we have is Benz. Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bale are all gambles for this match, Bale and Vinicius bring a lot of pace to the attack, which might be too much for Barca to handle but they are not sharp at the moment.

I will play Vinicius-Benzema-Bale in attack with Casemiro,Kroos,Valverde behind them.We have to attack/counterattack if we want to get anything from this game.
If we sit back and give Barca the ball and control over the game ,we will simply lose .
Modric should not start, his legs are gone.Isco is too slow and static to play against Barcelona.
Barcelona win or a draw is my prediction.

You almost always pick against us so your prediction makes me more confident in our chances at a good result.

Yeah this is what I would try. We may end up too narrow, but Isco is a disappointment and I don't trust Bale or Vinicius to start at the moment.

If we had Marcelo it would have helped with width but meh

It's the same old predict the worst then when the worst happens act like you knew it, and if it doesn't either hide or be all "yohoo guys we did it".

I think Barca will not predict this line up..just bring in Bale Rodrygo Vinicius in the 60+ minutes if the line up is not working

If we're looking for a draw (bigger possibility to lose) we should go narrow to stifle their attacks and play on the counter ( counters when narrow do not work as well)

If we want to win we need to start our normal 4-1Case -2Fede + Kroos-3 Vinicius Benzema Bale.

We can still play defensively with that formation, but at least we will have a realistic chance to score on the counter with so much pace on the wings.

There's more than one way to skin a cat - I know, but let's choose the one that makes the most sense.

I expect Rodrygo to have a big game. His coming out party.

He just strikes me as that kind of player

counter? with whom? Benz is slow. Bale not fast anymore (or don't want to run fast, depends who you ask), Vinicious can run but can't score.
you left with Rodrygo and Fede who are both fast, but that's not how you win a game.
we need to own the midfield. it will be Kroos, Casemiro, Fede and Isco with Benz and either Bale or Rodrygo in the front.

But you can also say, own the midfield and then what? We owned Valencia in the first 30 minutes but couldn’t score. I’m really curious what Zidane will do. 4-3-3 or 4-4-2? Both has their advantages and disadvantages. Will be very interesting.

He is too passive and needs to get aggressive. I don't think that is something that will change over night.

If Rodrygo is effective it is because he positioned himseld well in tbe box and took good shots.

Would love this but I can't help but think ZZ may go conservative and give Bale the start.

Sucks not to have Hazard in the toughest fixture of the league
A draw is the most I hope for.

I have a feeling that Casemiro and Rodrygo will score tomorrow. Don't think we'll win. It'll probably end in a 3-2 with a Ramos red card.

They will probably start Rakitic Busquets and De Jong in the midfield. Ivan and Sergio are both pretty poor and slow these days. I like our midfields chances of dominating them. Need a masterclass from Kroos and Valverde

To be honest we have domainated them in midfield the majority of the time the past years.

Doesn't matter when they are so clinical and we are wasting chances. It's one of the reason I'm confused when people keep saying we would dominate Liverpool... well there midfield are just workers. Our issue is we have one consistent goal threat. They have three (barca and Liverpool).

We have beat them down and either lost or ended up with a draw.
