One Less Terrorist How stupid are you to hi-hack an El Al plane? There hasn't been a successful one in over 40 years for a reason (details on that in the article). It is said that the terrorist world is a Darwinian one in that only the best survive. Here's one who was just weeded out. And a liar to boot, this wasn't a very nice guy.
It's more like only the worst survive, because for some dumb reason they all want to commit suicide. It seems to me that they would be more effective if their best terrorists weren't always blown up in their attacks.

Going up against bullet proof cabin doors with a penknife has to be one of most poorly attempted hijackings I've ever heard of. And from the pics of this guy, he looks like he can't be more than 140 soaking wet. If only all terrorists were this incompetent. -Adam
According to Shin-Bet it wasn't a hi-jacking attempt. It was an Arab-Israeli who for some reason tried to attack the stewardess and he had a penknife with him, so the security on board of the plane freaked out. He is expected to about 1 year in jail.
