Well I know he scored with his right against Brazil, but that's the only time I saw him score.

I dunno but I just saw an indoor vid of him taking a nasty shot with his left.

Nahh guy. I clearly remember that goal. He got the pass with his left, faked right and turned left, stutter stepped and fired a rocket with his left.

It was a joke man. The punch line was 'the only time I saw him score' ...

Guess it wasn't as funny as I intended. Sorry.

OHHHHHH, my bad. And you're right. I don't remember Preki scoring too many times.

I am certainly no EJ lover, but what you have to like about the goal, takes ball CONFIDENTLY on the dribble, dribbles confidently across the area and hits a very good and confident shot a the top of the box and eats the corner. This kid just hasnt had the light turned on, maybe it has. That's all he has ever needed. That spark of confidence and imagination that when the ball comes to him, he can create, hold it up, pass or shoot. He just hasnt had that.

besides Dempsey's wonder goal at the death against Chelsea (might be the best all around drama goal of the year in the EPL as far as I am concerned) it is the best Yank goal of the last 12 months.

It doesn't have Eddie's celebration, but here's another video of the goal:

I'm hopelessly late with this, but my point was merely that EJ working "his socks off" was a sign of maturity, that he was growing up.

I agree. It does frustrate those of us who wish he'd started working that hard sooner.
