Don't forget the assists. I think he has 2 or 3 and now a goal.

Jones said if EJ keeps playing well then Bothroyd won't get his automatic start. A MoM and a goal. I think EJ could see a lot more pt.

I hope Sky or someone does an interview with EJ after the game. This is epic.

IF he plays like the last two matches (when he's supposedly played terrific) for the next 2 years, tehn why not? We will need someone to sub Altidore with!!

Well I was wrong. I said Jones wouldn't sub off both Chopra and Bothroyd and he did.

I'm really happy for EJ. His confidence must be through the roof right now. A MoM and an assist last week and a goal this week.

OK, somebody who's not about to dive into the Fulham game needs to go round us up some highlights!

That may be hard. The only way would be if someone could download the highlights off of cardiffs website. They usually have highlights of all the games but you need to be a member and pay to see them. Plus there wasn't a stream so it's slim, but hopefully something will turn up.

I hope Sky Sports News has something tonight.

Yeah, sometimes its tough. As far as I know we still don't have video of Zimmerman's goal the other day.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I haven't seen the goal and celebration, but from the reports stating that he ran to the bench and all his teammates mobbed him...quite a contrast to some of the goal scorers who just point a finger in the air...and, yes, I did tear up after reading how excited Eddie got after scoring, how crazy the crowd went, and how happy his teammates were. Well done Eddie! Keep up the great work!

No goal scored against Doncaster has ever been cheered so much! Chants of 'Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!', the old folk that have sat around me in the Grandstand for many years now that I didn't even realise could stand stood to applaud; genuine joy. He deserves it. He ran the channels, held his ground, chased every ball, did everything asked of him. This is a different Johnson from the one that arrived here in August. :D

Great goal too - took the ball down on the right, ran along the edge of the box, and belted it with his left into the bottom left-hand corner. All-round superb.

I have to be honest, the goal is nice, but it's the reaction of the crowd BB talks about that is most heartening. It means he's working hard and not coasting on his natural talent, as he was wont to do in the past.

Thanks for that Bluebirds. It's great for him, what a confidence boost over the last 2 games.

I hope we can get a video of the goal. I know its a long shot but it sounds like it was good strike.

Sounds like a great crowd over there! Keep it up.

The only downside is that I was going to put a tenner on him but didn't have time to get down the bookies... :D

Ha, why thank you, but the goal will suffice. It's not often you hear a stadium announcer start a chant - "the third goal for the Bluebirds, his first goal in Europe, scored by number nine... Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!". :D
