The game everyone lives for til the next round.
At 10 February 17:00 Greek time Aris is travelling to Xanthi again, after 10 days, for Greek cup Quarter-final.
Game is knock out except if its a draw. Then teams are going to play at Kleanthis Vikelidis.
Aris 1st and most important target (the Greek Cup) is passing by Xanthi's stadium

Adu and Johnson "should" be at lineup, they are really important for Aris. Let's wait for Cuper's decisions.

Will be watching this match! Maybe on torrent though just to be safe, seeing how me watching has led to Aris not winning lately! :p

I think it has more to do with nafti not playing though.

With that said though, you guys should try this chant, we do it with Bolivar!

    GANAMOS-PERDEMOS-ARIS-TE-QUEREMOS!!!!!

What that says is, win, or lose, Aris we still love you!

Oh ok, then yes, he def. is going to play! Hopefully he lets it loose, and shows that he is a worthy starter worth to play the full 90'!

Guys, how might the addition of Meriem (once he's settled) affect Freddy's playing time? (Is the assumption that he'll play in the middle, w/o pushing anyone else out wide, meaning his addition, while hopefully strengthening the club, is irrelevant to Freddy's playing time?)

Newspaper says Koke will start as left winger and EJ and Campora at attack. If that happens it means Adu will change someone from these 3 later at the match. And it means that he s not ready for 90 minutes still.
Lets wait and see. Newspaper is not Cuper.

It could also be Koke on the right and Adu on the left. No one knows. Bad news is that it's raining since last night.

Its not so strange. EJ usually will start from bench imo. In last game he played because Koke and Campora need a rest.
    29 minutes.....

Yea, I was expecting EJ to start too. He seemed a bit nervous in front of the goal in our last game though.

From what I've seen of EJ outside of MLS, this is a very common sight. He can still finish though.

So if this Greek Cup is Aris' main target for the season, and this is a quarterfinal knockout game away, Cuper must have developed some level of trust in Freddy. He's still only played about 25 game minutes in a long, long time, so he'll need to be subbed or he'll be exhausted. So here's to a 0-2 Aris halftime lead.
