I'm going to Ireland in February (13-23) and I haven't been able to find anything really about the Irish league. I had heard that it was playing in the summer (and not in Feb.) but I'm not really sure, if anyone has any info at all that would be great. P.S. If you know anything about hurling, I want to get to a match since I've never seen one before and I found a fixture list (http://www.gaa.ie/html/fixtures/jan_feb2004.html) but I don't know how to find more info about the teams, ticket availability etc., I'm staying near Galway so particularly anything about Roscommmon, Sligo and Limerick. Thanks ahead of time for anything.
The League of Ireland (not Irish League- as that refers to Northern Ireland's league) is indeed a summer league (that runs into the fall) and will not be playing in February. I don't know about GAA stuff, but it seems like there's always something going on with them, so for a sports fix that seems like a good bet.
