Ego surfing

I admit it - I do it from time to time. But not to see who's saying what, but to find posts of mine that people have quoted. Saves going through a thread to find something I'm interested in.

Well, the new search seems to not bring up mentions in the "Originally posted by" part of the quoted post. Am I nuts or is this true? If it is, can it be changed? Nothing earth-shattering.

i heartily agree with monster on this one - searching your screenname makes it easy to revisit threads in which you were taking part in a discussion

but one must manually find that screenname in the member list. I did a search for "monster" and got this:

I went to advanced search and got:

Sorry! The administrator has disabled searching of the member list.

It appears that the member search is not working (or has it been disabled).

I'm not talking about searching the memberlist. I'm talking about regular search, but intsead of searching by keyword, search by username.
