    Pigs Eye (St. Paul),
I'm wondering how KC will do without Preki. Will they be in last place when he returns? He has been very valuable to the Wizards. Will Walsh be his replacement? What happenned to the AM that they picked up from New England? Is there a chance he'll be back? Also, is Preki's career ruined? How will Ross Paule be received at Arrowhead?

There are many options. If Simutenkov is healthy (he may have an injury) he would be an excellent playmaker. Walsh could do it as well, but he may have been playing on the left in a 4-4-2 in the last exhibition against USF. Vasquez was waived. I think he was part of the deal just to balance out Fabbro going to NE. I don't think many around here are mad at Paule since it sounds like he was hurt avoiding the tackle, not because Paule acutally tackled him.

    Midwest, the real one.
First of all, Jorge Vazquez is gone.

Second, I think Preki's injury could be a blessing in disguise. Sometimes, you replace a player with one that is not as good, and it works out for the better. The difference in that one position can change the way that an attack is built, so that the best qualities of those around it are better used, and/or there can simply be more cohesiveness between the players.

I'm not saying that Preki didn't utilize his fellow attackers well. Nor am I saying that there was anything really wrong with our offense. It's just that sometimes a change in approach more than makes up for the change in personnel.
