Thursday night's game vs. The Dallas Burn is Eddie pope Bobblehead night, given away to first 10,000. Let the hysteria begin....but seriously I heard that half season/full season ticket holders were guranteed this giveaway, anyone know how this works? I'm usually in the first 10,000 at the stadium, but just in case don't want to miss out.
We had this discussion before but never came to a solid conclusion. I am 99.9% certain that this is the case. I saw the bobblehead - it looks much better closer up than the pictures on the net and the stadium
What if we're full-season ticket holders who couldn't make it, cuz we're stuck in Houston on business? I suppose I'd better call the ticket office to see if they can hook me up.
Thanks, but where exactly is the customer service desk? Is that the one where you can exchange unused season tickets before the game?
The customer service "desk" (it actually resembles more of a cage) is directly to the left (as you walk into the stadium) of the "Main Entrance". You know, the one with the big Redskins Logo out front! Gate C I believe????
Did anyone catch Eddie on DC101 this morning? My brother told me that Eddie and Elliot where cracking up over the bobblehead.
Hey Chico, not that you would know about pyrotechnics or anything but... how many bottle rockets do you think it would take to get the Eddie Pope bobblehead airborne? BTW - yes, it is official revelation has gone insane. Thanks for asking...
It would be more practicable if we beheaded the bobble and sent the face into orbit. I would think eight 2 ounce rockets, symmetrically spaced would provide sufficient lift to launch Eddie's head. The trick of course would be to have rockets light off simultaneously -- very tricky, but doable. Heck, we may even be able to rig a silk parachute to recover the head! GM
I was thinking more along the lines of...how far would a Eddie Pope bobblehead go with a Charge 5 Green Bag in a 155mm Howitzer?
Jeez, One little "Incident" and you're branded for life Anyways, a couple of the 12 ouncers I've been launching after the games should get Eddie airborne.(kids, don't try this at home) Unfortunately I blew up the rest of my stash at the last game. Slightly off topic, my Barra Brothers have come up with a time delay fuse for our smoke bombs. La Norte can PM for details. Not that I condone any of the behavior previously stated.
Let me tell ya from experience - generally not a good idea to mess with the areodynamics of a rocket. See in Myrtle Beach a few years ago we found this Barney the dinosaur flashlight. We tore the Barney off and straped it to a rocket. Lit the fuse and the sucker took off towards the ocean - except the weight and shape of Barney changed the rockets trajectory and it did a 180 and came right back at us. We all dove out of the way - it skimmed off my friends ass - and hit the rocks and blew up However, Barney was still in fine condition
