Thanks for the link. The more I learn about Eddie the more I like him. Interesting comment on his future at left back. I would have guessed differently.
"Did you ever wonder why you played full-time for a World Cup quarterfinalist but did not play regularly for Fulham? Not for a minute - in Europe, it happens all the time. Club and international football are two different worlds." May be this will put an end to the complaining about how Eddie was mistreated by Tigana.
All I think it means is that Lewis is a professional who sees no benefit in criticizing a former coach. He's in a good groove and in a good place, it seems. He recognizes that. Good for him.
Eddie is a smart guy. I'm sure he realizes that DMB will be occupying the left-midfield spot for some time to come and the left-back position seems to be somewhat open for someone to grab ...
100% correct. Eddie realizes that opening his mouth and complaining about a past manager, even if Eddie is 100% correct, can't help Eddie now or in the future.
Lewis shows some class here. While a lot of other players would have complained about Tigana, he actually complements him by saying he learnt from him, coaching wise.
Lewis is a classy player and individual. I know I probably would have snatched at the chance to criticize Tigana. Didn't Bruce call Tigana a jerk?
