Eddie Lewis as a wingback?

    I've seen it debated on here (ok debate is probably too polite a term)... Some think Eddie Lewis might be able to play as a wingback or even an outside defender for the national team in the future.

    Well, it's possible he may be playing wing back in a 5-3-2 for Preston NE in todays tie with Birmingham.

    Lewis played often as the left wingback in a 3-5-2 for Arena, starting in his first match for Arena and with the most recent example being in the recent World Cup. Left back in a 4-4-2 is a bit more rare, though Lewis did play there in a friendly last spring (Honduras maybe).
