Reading Ed is almost better than watching that Crew game! Nah, seriously I look forward to Ed evry week.

BTW although they don't quite make the list but United's 2000 team gave up a hair more than 2 goals a game themsleves. Would they have been next on that all-bad defense list?

I disagree with one point.

Andrulis definitely did something resembling coaching while we were playing keep-away. He yelled "Come on, boys!" That's gotta count, right?

Best as I can tell on mlsnet.com, United gave up 63 in 32 matches in 2000 - nothing to be proud of, but only 1.97 a game, if you round up.
