The people outside are always wanting to "help" you with your bags. One time I had to get mad and asked the guy if I looked like a "ani~ado" to him. Haha
I still invited him to some fries and popcorn chicken at kfc though.

OMG majestic... JFK .. believe me .. its one of the worst airports... sure its big because it's in the biggest city in the US, but that's it! It is always packed, dirty, flights always getting delayed, and a hassle when you get or leave, O'Hare is the same ! LAX I can say is nice. Majestic does not apply to these huge dirty melting pots of airports.. if you want majestic go to Europe or Japan!

Just one more thing Guayaco....Like LDU said, just wait till the new Quito airport is finished in a couple of years and it will be much better than the Guayaquil airport ;)
And the data you gave about Guayaquil being in that ranking is pretty old, could you give the 2009 or at least the 2008 info please? A lot of things change in 7 years so that info is not valid anymore

Currently the Guayaquil airport is one of the best in S.A., I think it has won a few awards for best terminal, best service, most planes on time, etc.

But yes, one the New Quito Airport is done it should be better.

But they are also supposed to build a new airport in Guayaquil. You can see a scale model inside the current terminal. It should be the biggest in Ecuador and one of the biggest in Latin America.
    Here is a picture:

    Re: Ecuador's DT

We can't argue that LDU team has some good players-Bieler, Calderon, and Campos, but at the same time people should know there are players from other teams that have not been called up and given a shot. Which is why the new DT should not be shortsided and repeat what all other DT's have done, which is select only players from Barcelona, Emelec, and El Nacional. Ecuador has some talented players from many clubs.

    Re: Ecuador's DT

here's my argument...let the best 11 start on the pitch. As is, the seleccion has Caicedo, Benitez, Valencia, Castillo, Hurtado, Espinoza, Ayovi, Noboa, Rojas, Montero, and others that aren't from Liga. As for the upcoming cycle, if Campos and Calderon get called to the defense, if Bieler gets called to be a striker, and if Bolanos, Reasco, Mendez get called up to play as well, it's because they have experience and enough talent to be on the team. Maybe for others who don't see adequate representation, I feel your pain, but look past the escudo of the team and just piece the best 11 together-whoever that may be. Liga fielded 7 or 8 players during the 06 world cup, and we had a solid showing, although not all the Liga players start...and this time around, the Liga players (except Mendez, Calderon and Campos and Bieler) probably will be bench riders.

    just remember...the best XI

So you're surprised that the team with the most international success in Ecuador history over the past two years would generate a good deal of NT players?

No one is overlooking other domestic players, but I think most people are looking at the current state of Ecuadorian to field the best team, and Liga undoubtedly has the strongest team at the moment.

OK so next qualifiers lets just forget about players from the other Ecuadorian clubs and send Liga to play the Qualifiers.

Seriously, are non-Liga fans getting a paranoid "short man complex"? I mean I'm a Mets fan, if there's an all-star game, I realize there are lots of Yankees and Phillies (teams I hate) and like 1 or 2 Mets because those teams happen to be superior at this point.

Again, no one is saying "lets send Liga as the NT", but when you make a list of potential NT players, you're going to have more players from the best team in Ecuador than the other domestic teams. Suck it up.

Yeah seriously, I mean being on the national team is about calling up the best players in the country. And if that just happens to mean mostly Liga players than so be it. Now I think there would be a problem if we sent mostly Liga players if Barcelona was rocking the serie A but thats not exactly happening now...Say no to regionalismo. Its the National team not a popularity contest.

    Re: Ecuador's DT

its not Liga's fault they're so f*ckin amazing...people need to get used to it and live with it.

shoot if Barcelona or Manta had the best players in this damn tournament I obviously wouldn't support them in the local tournament but as far as NT goes I WOULD.

From the list I made earlier w/ players who have potential...I had atleast 1-2 in every team besides Manta and Tecnico. It just happens that Liga has the the largest amount of better players. Don't blame Liga, blame the other teams that need to starting doing work.

Oh wait no, last time I remembered Barcelona was the best team in Ecuador...that's why they're in the Liguilla and doing so well these past 12 years. Winning championships and international tournaments and all that good stuff.

I got an idea...let's have Barcelona be the NT, I'm sure it would go magnificent.

baaaahhaahaha. And maybe have Llop as the coach and Benito Floro as the assistant. sounds good to me.
