It's still early for Paez. And hopefully Chelsea does their part to make sure he continues to grow and develop in a professional manner given their heavy investment in him. If Chelsea sent private guards to him when we had that national crisis I'm sure they will educate him to handle and carry himself as a professional.

Also the fact that Plata and Arboleda got banned should serve as a wake up call. There is no way Plata won't get a serious injury given his build and the fact that he playing in a weak league. If he continues well see him follow Miller Bolanos or Michael Arroyos/Alex Colon path due to discipline and god forbid major injury ontop. Dude will be playing series B ball or even worse amateur 4th division come his late 20s early 30s.

I'm glad we got rid of Arboleda. That dude literally has $#!t for brains. We need people like that far from our next generation. He has one more year in Brazil hope he makes that last.

Yikes, the man has been injured all year - never recovered from that injury in October. At this point if he’s not 100% for copa America I wouldn’t even call him up or wouldn’t start him unless we make it out of the group stage.

Hopefully he’s healthy by the time eliminatorias kick off again.

he’s the best player ecuador has de pies a cabeza, above everyone when 100%

Hincapié can play LB, so who do we have for CB’s? Arboleda is gone.

I think our CB for now should be.

    Hincapie
    Pacho
    Torres
    Porozo
    Ordoñez
    Realpe
    Ferigra

For LB we have Hincapie, Chavez & maybe Palacios can come back I think I read somewhere he said that he would like to come back to the NT and that his incidente before was all a mistake. Ramirez is also I name I still keep in the back of my head but that's an even further option.

Jhoanner Chavez. He can be our main back up for Pervis. He has adapted well to playing France.

Michael Da Costa was on the bench today for Bournemouth. From what I read he has shown interest in Ecuador.

a striker with his background and height ( 6 1), needs to be on the top of the list of call ups.

I have mixed feelings. My dad was born and raised in Bremen (we are actually both going to see them play vs Bochum in May)

That said, Bremen have done what they needed to do - stay up.

    Leverkusen get to
    • Stop that Bayern domination after 11 years (BVB failed last year)
    • Win their first title
    • First Ecua to ever win the BuLi
    Go Aspirinas!!!

Leverkusen up by 2 goals. 28 minutes left to play - hopefully he clinches this.

They look so comfortable on the ball, and no one tries to do too much on that team. Well oiled machine.

Commentators said Piero is second ecua to win an European championship after Valencia.

1 of 3 trophies in the bag for Hincapie. Historic win for Leverkusen. Now let’s see if they can close out the season with Europa League and Domestic cup.

WOW! that's humbling for sure. That's how you know we only send people to lower mid table teams.

I could have sworn Felipe Caicedo won something in Switzerland.

Plata technically won the Liga portuguesa.

    LOL I keep editing this...

Didnt Pervis win the Europa League?

I think he meant a major league.

I don’t think Pervis won Europa League.

Pervis (Villarreal) and Toño (ManU) both won Europa League titles.

Toño was a CL runner up.

Toño won the PL, and now Piero won the Bundesliga...according to the FIFA coefficient, those are top-4 domestic leagues.

Felipe Caicedo won the Swiss league championship once and their domestic cup twice. He also won two Italian domestic cups, and 2 Italian super cups.

Completely forgot about that. I was thinking about that time they lost to Liverpool?

I hope Leverkusen finishes the season unbeaten to add salt to Bayern lol

Piero should stay another year if Alonso does stay as a coach

    Alonso is staying.

The only reason that anyone would leave is because Leverkusen is intent to sell and strike while the iron is hot...but they'll gut the squad with a CL on the horizon. I sincerely hope the core squad stays put.

What would be nicer than a b2b Bundesliga and making a deep run into the CL...storybook finish.
