Pervis had a decent showing today. Milan won, but he’s still getting roasted by the fans. These guys are starting to understand the pressure that comes with playing for top teams and I am here for it.
It’s not enough to just win, you need to show out.

Kendry now has stiff competition at strasbourgh with Chelsea buying enciso and sending him to France immediately.

Hincapie is locked to arsenal as the famous here we go has officially been posted by Romano. He’s another that will need to fight for minutes.

it’s a World Cup year and several of our guys have locked themselves into places where only the fit will get minutes. Hope Nilson gets to sporting and Ordoñez finds his way.

It irks me when an agent runs a club because the club will never improve.

I wouldn't pay attention to Milan fans. They're still emotional over Theo being sold even tho he was garbage the last 2 years with us. Cost us so many games.

The first 10 mins everyone was horrible but Pervis got better after that. Once Milan switches to a 4-3-3 I'm sure he'll be even better.

He can learn a lot in Serie A.

This team also plays very attacking football so it suits his style.

Ordoñez transfer to Marseille falls. He'll stay at Brugge for another year.

He should have taken that Crystal Palace offer.

Its pointless for him to remain at Brugge.

Agreed- but Brugge doesn't see it that way. They're hedging their bets and hoping for a great year between their cup runs, the local league, and the WC to try and negotiate him at 2x the present value.

Moises Caicedo was rumored to be whispering into this ear to focus on the Marseille transfer because of De Zerbi....Not sure if this was first rejected by Brugge or Ordoñez, though.

Seems like Piero is making the move!

I understand their stance but this saga as well as with Jashari makes teams unwilling to negotiate with them.

As for Piero, its a done deal. He said goodbye to Leverkusen today.

I'm not worried about Piero because he's similar to Walter Ayovi in that he can fill different roles, so he can be a starter in 2 spots.

Absolutely, but if they've got him on a long contract, then it doesn't matter all that much. They'll cash out eventually OR they'll just extract max value on him and let him go free after many years. If they're a really callous lot, the latter is likely, BUT I think they'll want him off the books next year where theoretically his value will peak while on a club like Brugge.

Ultimately, this is a self serving business and not all operators in the space act in good faith or with a player's best interests in mind.

Barcelona lost to Universidad Católica at home today. Their season keeps getting worse. Arreaga had a terrible game. I don’t know why he keeps getting called up to the NT.

NADIE LO ENTIENDE… ¡Y Beccacece rompe el silencio sobre la misteriosa convocatoria a Arreaga! (ENTREVISTA)

    https://www.futbolecuador.com/site/...e-la-misteriosa-convocatoria-a-arreaga/163001

This dude is legit messed up in the head. Being a part of the process should not be the main criteria for calling someone up if they're not showing up well in club matches. It's the only litmus test to gauge fitness and quality ahead of big matches. Arreaga has proven enough that there is a major dip in form.

Sarmiento was a part of the process for a long time and he's been excluded for a few matches. Why is he not getting called up? There's a handful of domestic defenders and a few playing abroad who merit the call up, and some were even a part of the process well before Arreaga's inclusion...why are they omitted?

I'll have whatever he is smoking.

Realpe deserved a callup over Arreaga AND Torres. Both have been abysmal whereas Realpe has been killing it in Portugal.

    True.

Beccacece struggles to find technically sound reasoning to defend his call-ups. At this point, I'd even accept a simple "coaches prerogative" instead of his lame justifications.

The margin for error is too small when it comes to international games. The NT qualified for the WC but what if one of the starter gets injured and of another gets sent off in a game. In that situation Arreaga would probably play. He’s played poorly at club level imagine how he would do against tougher competition.
Over Arreaga for sure. Torres has performed well for the NT for the most part.

With more reason that Arreaga should not be allowed to continue. He's foul/mistake prone and whether its age or just a skill gap that's showing, the risk is very high. We have other guys who even with their own downsides are more physically adept to MAYBE hold their own if one of our top guys gets sidelined to injury.

Looks like Moi's new neighbor is Piero.

I hope these two push each other improve beyond projections.

Agreed but his club level has been so bad that I would not risk him as a sub. He's gotten red cards and hasn't been able to properly mark his man for a while.

He needs to change clubs for sure because his mental state is affecting his performances.

That was such a GOATed name. The parents did well on that one lol

I think this is the lineup we can expect to see. With Franco out it’ll be Castillo or Alcivar.

Going to be an interesting last 2 games, historically we have never taken a single point in Paraguay or Beaten Argentina in a decade. Beccacece left a lot of heads scratching not only by his decision making but rationale. The World Cup is around the corner and we still have no solution to our scoring problem, we haven’t had time to gel with a cohesive line-up. A lot of experimenting and no results. As for the players, we have a lot of in-form players right now, let’s hope they can translate that into the NT.
