Alan Minda came off the bench today and had an assist.

Chelsea seem to have something going on except for the GK.

Oscar Zambrano with a gol and assist today. Hope his career doesn’t get derailed.

He played a good game and was attacking a lot as well. Would we run any risk if he’s called up now?

lol I watched that game. That GK is almost entirely the reason Brighton was even close. I have no idea why they played a high line offside trap against a Chelsea with 3 very fast forwards. Caicedo had another impeccable game (like 3 or 4 dangerous recoveries). Partly the reason Brighton looked like shit was because they stopped trying to keep the ball, Baleba was no match for Caicedo.
Pervis looked … still getting back into it. He had 1 glaring mistake and lacked that final ball, looked gassed at the end. When him and mitoma aren’t on the same page that team suffers.

CONMEBOL cleared him to play. I don’t see why there would be an issue.

Watch out for Sornoza. He’s not my favorite player but he’s been playing well. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s called up to the NT.

Completely hypothetical question but would Luca Klimowicz be eligible to play for Ecuador? He was born in Argentina but he did live in Ecuador for some time during his childhood. Theoretically he’d be able to obtain Ecuadorian citizenship through his father. Jeremy obtained Ecuadorian citizenship through his parents who were born in Ecuador. Yeboah obtained Ecuadorian citizenship through his mother who was born in Ecuador. Luca’s father (Javier Klimowicz) wasn’t born in Ecuador. That’s the distinction.

It’ll be interesting to see if they commit to this or if they abandon ship at the first sign of trouble.

He would be able to obtain citizenship yes relatively easy. After that it would depend on his eligibility to play per Fifa. Did he live 5 consecutive years in Ecuador ? He is only on loan till December. We would have to see if he has the long term interest of continuing in the country and if everything plays in his favor to do so.

I don’t think he’ll live in Ecuador for five years. His loan ends in December for one. It’s possible IDV, Liga, or BSC sign him but even then it wouldn’t be long before he’d move on to a more competitive league. I thought there was a chance he’d be able to play for Ecuador by obtaining citizenship through his father. Yeboah obtained citizenship through his mother. That’s what allowed him to play for Ecuador. The distinction is that Yeboah’s mom was born in Ecuador which is a requirement according to FIFA.

I don’t know why they’re making a huge deal out of this. It’s nothing.

For one the kid is smoking a vape. Those things are terrible for your lungs. He was probably also out late on a day he played a game. A serious footballer will rest after a game so his body can recover.

I don’t like judging people out of an 18 second video.

It’s not just one 18 second video. It’s a pattern at this point. He got a free pass when the video of him at the strip club came out. Paez is a talented player. Talent only gets you so far. A player that truly wants to succeed at the highest level has to make sacrifices. They don’t smoke. They’re not out there partying into the late hours. They take care of their body. A lot of Ecuadorians have a different mindset. Para muchos lo que importa es la farra. That’s what holds us back as a society.

Caicedo needs to get on Kendry's case now as his future captain and teammate. Kendry needs a reality check before he stagnates due to issues outside the pitch.

On paper I think this may be the best U16 squad Ecuador has put together. Definitely the tallest. Some of the kids are huge.

There’s no titties in this video so it’s all fine with me. For all we know this could have been at 8pm or something which is not after hours. You guys are too uptight.

It just not a good look for a pro athlete especily some one who will soon be amongst the elite. Image is important and this does not send a good message . Plus all the acts of misconduct in the past from him and the rest of our national team.

The backlash will only get worse once he is in Chelsea. Imagine if Moi had the incidents kendry did. Drinking beer in the final, getting caught at a strip club, and smoking all while still being under age. His hate was real when he was the most expensive play and didn't consistently have top proformances. Kendry having a hard time as it is now that his form has dropped. The last thing he needs is to do things like this and have more people criticism him.

Champions League today was good. Lots of goals.

Preciado did well for Sparta.. very well. They tied a very decent Stuttgart away.

Hincapie was OK - locked down Pulisic except for one play where he was caught lacking. They won that game 1-0 and they def struggled.

Pacho missed a key center and was at fault for the first Arsenal goal. Overall this tourney is exposing PSG for not having a real attack. They look clueless out there.

    Tomorrow we got Ordoñez.

Lately he’s been in the news for all the wrong reasons. On a side note that chick has to work on her acting chops. Those fake tears were hilarious.
