I dont think it should be severe since he went back to playing Copa Sudamericana when he was tecnically banned from all Conmebol tournaments. He already went a good amount of time suspended from Liga Pro and International tournaments waiting for a final decision. That time he faced should be more than enough IMO plus maybe a financial punishment. Worse case scenario he might get 6 months on top which would be good time for him to train with the team and go through an adaptation process.

I had read that he is no longer in threat of sanctions because he took medication and not an actual PED. Though the official pronouncement has not been made public, the link tying him to Stoke City on a transfer indicated he's now in the clear.

Retrospectively, Liga not moving him to Bournemouth only to now have him go to Stoke is among the most ridiculous moves in recent history.

Michael Bermudez, Sebastian Gonzalez and Jairon Charcopa also got the bad end from Liga administration. I dont think we will be seeing our youth talent get those types of rumors and attention under our new administration.

I used to think that players should wait until they established themselves in Ecuador first before making a move abroad. I have since changed my view. They should get out as soon as they have a chance. So many shady dealings behind the scenes. Nilson Angulo and Denil Castillo left early and they’re doing well. We’ll see how it goes for Michael Bermudez.

Zambrano is now being linked to Hull City.

Bermudez was linked to Dormund, AC Milan and ended up in Serbia... Gonzalez as linked to Atletico Madrid and is now a free agent. Charcopa signed a contract with FC Lugano and stayed in Liga and is facing some sort of potential law suit. Our days of seeing talent like Pervis, Nilson, And Denil come out of Liga are over.

Juan Gonzalez is an interesting player. He’ll be part of the U20 team so we’ll get to see him in action.

Serbia is a good landing spot. They develop young players well. Their league is heavily scouted by the other top leagues as well.

I really hope Plata gets better if he moves to Brazil.

The kid would be great to have alongside Yeboah for that RW.

So what you are saying is, he should definitely not go play for Independiente Medellin.

    I still got my subscription.

I can’t recall if I read it or heard it somewhere but gol tv will sue for $150 million for broken contract in a US court. I wonder if somewhere in there they got the US rights to stream el campeonato.

Maelo Rentería has been linked to clubs in Portugal and Germany. He scored a goal against BSC the other day. Another player that apparently stood out was Emerson Pata.

Hopefully he lands a first division team as names have still not been mentioned yet. I still remember when Vinicio Angulo made the jump from IDV to Portugals 1st division. I still remember one of his first goals in Portugal too. He took on a few players and had 2 on the floor. That guy could of been El Tanque Hurtado x Felix Borja sucks he was never disciplined.

I honestly thought Maolo Renteria fell off even in IDV Juniors like Garis Mina did. There where moments where he wasn't on IDV Juniors squad. And was 3rd choice striker behind Felipe Machado and Darlin Estupiñan. Glad to see he is coming back and that he is being linked to Europe like that.

I'm actually looking at the stats now for IDV Juniors. All 3 strikers are rotating this season. Not sure if that good competition but yea Maelo should definitely make a move there.

AVS is the Portuguese team that’s been mentioned. John Mercado plays for the same club. Stuttgart is the German team.
