Alfaro will be coaching Paraguay. I think I said here before. Teams like Paraguay, MX, Colombia are perfect for a coach like Alfaro. Paraguay specifically has a good amount of youth coming up and they have been trying to do a good youth cycle in the senior NT for years.

So it’s all about the money for him. Wasn’t in CR for long.

I’d like for this to be the base of the NT moving forward.

GK - Dominguez, Galindez, Ramirez, Ortiz, Burrai
CB - Torres, Hincapie, Pacho, Ordóñez, Porozo
    RB - Preciado, Hurtado
    LB - Estupiñan, Chavez, Loor
CM - M. Caicedo, Franco, Ortiz, Mendez, Zambrano, Pluas, Castillo
    AM - Paez, Vite
    RW - Yeboah, Mercado
LW - Sarmiento, Minda, N. Angulo
Striker - Enner, Rodriguez, Estrada, J. Caicedo, Obando, Campana

If there's one thing Bas did right that's call up Yeboah and Minda. They really allow us to exploit tired defenses.

I really think the addition of Pluas and Vite will be the pieces we're missing in midfield.

The Argies grew into the match the moment Messi came off. Like at Inter Miami, we walks more than he runs.

    I think Ecuador’s ideal formation would be a 4-2-3-1:

Ramirez; Preciado, Pacho, Hincapie, Estupiñan; Franco, Moises; Yeboah, Vite, Sarmiento; Rodríguez

At this point Vite is a more complete player than Paez. Vite is a playmaker but he also helps the team defensively. The days of the classic “#10” are over. Players nowadays have to play both sides.

1000% agree. You exchange Paez with Vite and you'll see us be able to attack more without giving up anything defensively.

I'm hoping Pluas can carry over his defense to help Caicedo be able to push up more.

Pluas has to make the move abroad. It’ll be difficult for him to get an opportunity with the NT if he continues playing for Orense. Unfortunately players from clubs like Orense get overlooked. I think if Almada gets hired he would give opportunities to players that have been overlooked. He has a good eye for talent and can help young players take their game to the next level.

I fell like our chances of getting Almada are very low. Last time he was in our radar as well as Uruguay & MX he said he didnt sign with any team because none of the teams where able to meet his demands and expectations. He didnt state exactly what they where but it doesnt seem like it will be easy to get him. At this point I dont think FEF will seal the deal on any of the previously mentioned candidates.

I’ll be so upset if the FEF doesn’t sign Almada. Knowing how the FEF has been running things it may end up being some random name.

Looking at the gol that the Argentinians manufactured, which is a great goal and what makes Argentina a great team, they were just waiting to take advantage of a weak pass (like the ones we’re famous for)by the Colombians, and in 3 passes is all they needed to put it away,it’s why our guys infuriate me when we play the timid passing BS,we always get caught sleeping and it’s something we most work on.

How this guy keeps getting deals is crazy. I saw him miss a few sitters and penalties in the Liga MX lol

Good for him, someday we'll find our next forward.

I'm surprised Ariel Holan name didn't come up for the NT yet. He was rumored to be an option for us before we signed Alfaro.

I am assuming so. Hopefully we can watch it here in the US too. I think we will only know for sure the week of tbh as of now ECDF has not listed Liga Pro Games under their streaming services on their website. They added Serie B and that streamed live and for free.

This just popped up when googling serie A Ecuador USA stream. They’ll be streaming via YouTube? They got the calendar in there.

IDV and BSC both tied at home. UC lost away. Almost two months without playing so the results aren’t surprising. Liga Pro has to fix the calendar.
