Times ticking and the shortlist of all those names is getting smaller and smaller. Who’s left now that’s actually a viable candidate

According to the media this was list of coaches.

    Marcelo Gallardo
    Jose Peckerman
    Jorge Sampaoli
    Sebastian Becacecce
    Juan Antonio Pizzi
    Guillermo Almada
    Luis Zubeldia
    Martin Anselmi
    Miguel Angel Ramirez
    Cesar Farias
    Fabian Bustos
    Gustavo Alfaro
    Alex Aguinaga
    Fernando Batista

But knowing FEF and their poor negotiating skills we could end up with no body from this list and going after some one completely random with no prior experience in SA football. For all we know FEF could start calling Bob Bradley, Hector Cuper, and Javier Aguirre these names are more predictable for the FEF to pick than them actually getting some body the media and fans actually favor. There was jokes saying watch FEF sign Alcacer lmao.

I am old...so I remember the Alex Aguinaga days and i remember when everyone in Ecuador was a Necaxa fan. I would love to see him as manager but what is his experience? truthfully, i have not heard about him in years. What has he done to even be on that list?? My first WC qualifier in Ecuador aftr moving from Germany was for the 1998 WC and I was hooked. Was also a HUGE BSC fane at the time.

TBH he doesn't have much under his belt as a coach. Only 6 years of coaching over 8 years ago with no titles. I was actually watching a video about his possible chances of coaching the NT. He is launching himself to the NT more to have ex glorias have a chance at coaching in the country. His coaching staff would be Edison Mendez and Luis Antonio Valencia. He was interim coach at BSC. His most successful run was probably in LDU Loja when he gave them a decent run in Copa Sudamericana but other than that he doesn't have anything noticeable in any of his teams. His run in LDU Quito ended badly for him.

The only coaches we have had aboard in recent years where Octavio Zambrano, Sixto Vizuete, Carlos Gruezo(Assistant Coach) and now Jhon Patricio Cagua in Panamá. If Jhon Cagua wins titles over there it would be nice to see him in the youth NT.

Was listening to marca 90 last night and somehow it was brought up by Vito that after the Argentina game, Messi approached Grueso and asked him why Campana wasn’t in the team. Grueso didn’t reply but Messi said he should be because he’s a good guy. I wonder if this shit is made up or not. Most of the time I don’t believe it.

The correct response is, "Campana sucks". And I am a Campana fan and an Inter Miami fan. My Inter kit has his name on it. Man, I want him to do well. I was like, with Suarez and Messi at the Cope, he can prove himself. 1 goal. All month, just one goal. Those are not good numbers for a striker or CF.

Finally someone who I agree with. People scream his name but his numbers are not good to warrant his call up.

There are rumors that the FEF is looking at Spanish coaches. Quique Setién & Beñat San José names came up.

He was the one who lost 8-2 to Bayern. He Is such a weird coach. He abandoned his teams the second he starts to find success. He abandoned teams over too much pressure from fans, disputes with the owners, and of course noticeable bad results.

My woman is Colombiana and her response was, "Que oso...Colombianos tenian que ser - que verguenza"

Truth is that USA need to get this shit fixed if they want to have a successful WCC in 2025 and WC in 2026.

The fact of the matter is Colombia has a solid team. They're in 2026. We can probably chalk up the game Away as an L.

This Argentina team is A LOT better than what they let on during group stages. They played better without Messi lol

Ecuador was the ONLY team to not only have them against the ropes, but also score a single goal against them. Like usual nos falto experiencia. I hope the guys see this and at least get some inspiration from it.

Aside from that today is a black eye for US concacaf and conmebol organization and it's security protocols. People are still claiming they were left out of the stadium even though they had tickets. I would be devastated if I spent the egregious prices they were charging, made the trip, spent on a hotel and food etc, all so that in the end - I missed out. A refund is the LEAST they can offer the people who were FORCED to miss the game because of blunders from the top all the way to the bottom. IMO the game needed to be rescheduled for tomorrow. These people were sneaking in through the fuvvking vents like it was prison break or something.

With a decent GK and an adequate striker we can reach a final and possibly win it.

Colombia blew their load during the first half. I was expecting a 120 minute game. Argentina had them figured out 30 minute into the game but knew it was a long game.

This is a cultural thing and wouldn’t expect less from people from Miami.

I went to the free Juanes concert in Central Park last year. The same thing happened. People who couldn't get in tried to get in by force. It was crazy. Some girl was trying to climb those small fences they put up and the crowd stormed in and pushed it over. That girl slammed into the concrete hard. Then some of the guards came in to human shield the crowd and they started swinging. They canceled the event shortly after that.

The biggest issue there was that there was no guards outside controlling the line. People where cutting left and right, holding spots for other people. People who saw someone they knew in line just casually joined their group just because they some what knew them and they where already in line.

So there was an angry crowd of people who got left out because of that and even then they didnt send guards out to control that crowd. It was only when they started storming in that they appeared and started doing something.
