Those names been floating around for years. Most likely somebody we haven’t heard off. Just like Alfaro and Bas.

I thought Obando was an exciting prospect but he plays without ganas. I think Estrada should be given a chance as number one depending how it does in the next two months until Brasil.

I really hope it doesn't come to that for once. I would hate for it to end up being another random name.

Lol I still can't believe Jürgen Klinsmann was on our radar. I think that was after we sacked Quinteros right ?

The media was linking us to Cesar Farias, Fabian Bustos and even Aguinaga was trying to throw his hat in with Mendez & Toño as assistant coaches.

They're in. Good for them, what a ********ing squad. Down a man and still locked up a strong Uruguay. They could've even amplified the lead near the end.

Colombia is playing the best ball on this side of the planet.

They need to be more clinical. They missed a few good ones in previous games too.

Lol just went I thought the Uruguayans were behaving themselves, they had to bring out their dirty play manual and provoke by pinching the Colombian very slyly.Uruguay had 3 clear chances and didn’t connect, all it took Colombia was one and they hung on.

I really think Bielsa works his players a bit too hard that any contact they get injured. I don’t see anything threatening about Uruguay other than the rough play.

They need more security in those stadiums, our fans also got into tussles during Mexico game and we’re the most chill peeps, but watch out we’ll knock you out if you look for it.

At the Mexico vs Ecuador game I cannot count the amount of beers being thrown and growing tensions in the stands. It’s safe to say that they weren’t equipped to handle any of it.

This Copa has been a logistical nightmare on all fronts. Problematic pitches, lack of security, overpriced tickets, half empty stadiums, long travel distances for teams to name a few. I hope this might deter another Copa in the States for a long time.

Going forward I don’t think we’ll be seeing another Copa in the US anytime soon (but money talks). I would rather travel down to SA support the local businesses, be surrounded by real fans, in packed stadiums with reasonable prices.

I was listening to Alfaro’s show at work and I think he said he was not gonna answer back but if he wanted to he’d make him mierda.

At some point I’d like to see an Ecuadorian get an opportunity to coach the NT. Karma is a bitch though. If I remember correctly I think Mendez retired from the NT when Vizuete was hired. Granted he returned to the NT but by that point the damage had been done.

I read somewhere that as part of the negotiations the US were going to be hosts for the 2024 and 2028 Copa America. Not sure how true this is.

Ecuador’s president said he wanted to host the next Copa America. Our infrastructure is even worse.

I saw this Instagram post with an underprivileged kid, Guschmer, el presidente and Moisés. I felt bad because I got a feeling the kid doesn’t know the number 23? That’s the impression that I got. I feel they should be spending the money somewhere else rather than making propaganda giving shirts away.

    A few things;

    • I also read that Ecuador submitted interest in bidding for the CA.
    • I also read that the US wanted 228 as well....however, it has not been guaranteed from what I have tred to find. Paraguay or Uruguay (can't remember which) was also looking at potentially bidding for to be la cede.
    • Fucking Juergen Klopp isn't touching the USMNT with a 10ft pole.
    • Vamos COLOMBIA!!!!

It’ll be interesting to see where Klopp goes after his sabbatical.

Uruguay and Paraguay may be good options to host the 2028 Copa America. They’re going to host the first few games of the 2030 World Cup so preparations would be underway by then. It could also serve as a good test run.

Yeah, at some point they need to get out of the country and prove themselves. At this moment we are not an exporter of técnicos. After those ex glorias came out talking it made me realize why no body hires them.
